Reviews for Lombardino's Restaurant in Madison, WI
Another great Italian restaurant in Madison. I had the calamari fritti with marinara sauce, horseradish & lemon. My main is... Oreccchiette with Fraboni’s sausage and rapini, roasted garlic cream & a splash of brandy. I loved it, must try. My friendsordered pizza and scallops and they all find it delicious. It has a bar too. Their old fashion is not that bad. The server wasnice and accommodating. He gave the Second old fashion for free because it took so long. I will go back. I love theircollection of succulents too. I wish I know the name of the one I posted. I want to have one. Read more

This Italian restaurant has been around for decades for a reason. Definitely worth a meal here. Desserts made in house like... you would expect from a good quality Italian restaurant. I'll be going back. Read more
Great stop for Sunday dinner! Very chill atmosphere made for a relaxing, calm dinner. We tried the orichette and the lamb ragu... dishes that were both spectacular. Finished with the special dessert and a yummy custard as well. Definitely in the $$ range, but was worth it! Read more
This place is no joke. The food was delicious. I'll be honest and say that it did take a bit to get service once we were sat.... But one look of discomfort was noticed by the host and he was quick to get us started before the waiter could get over. We lovedhis awesome hair he said he was thinking of going tiger stripes tomorrow!!! We started with the pizza Lombardino and it isfantastic. Be warned it comes with a ton of greens on top but that flavor combo is crazy good. I got the lamb, goat cheeseravioli. Just yes. All great thing to say just get it!! She order the gnocchi. We have never tried it before and it was good. The sauce was incredible. He ordered the eggplant and it was so delicately put together and once again the flavor pairing wasamazing. This place does a great job and I highly recommend you go and check them out. We did not have a chance to sample someof their beverages but we saw a few go by and they looked great. Read more
Just get the squash ravioli if it is on the menu. Hands down the best I've ever tasted! Although, if you are looking for... something a little extra, try the seafood risotto, wow, fantastic! I can easily say this is one of the top meals I've had overthe last year. They don't take reservations, but the staff really does provide a wonderful welcome. Read more
It’s a good, established fine dining Italian restaurant. We sat outdoors on a beautiful evening and the service was great. All... servers are kind and attentive. Some examples of the food here-bucatini, linguine, and cheesecake. We also had the polenta. Allpasta dishes tasted like genuine Italian pasta with rich, bold flavors. It did not taste cheap at all. The polenta was amazing.I hope to try their meatballs next time I go. The cheesecake was a perfect ending the meal. It wasn’t too sweet was wellbalanced with fruits and nuts. Obviously it’s a bit expensive but one gets what they are paying for. Read more
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Lombardino's, it was a very good experience. Very busy, friendly service with... good food. We had the short rib gnocchi (tender beef with puffy gnocchi) , parmesan pasta (rich and tasty), brussels with bacon, beet salad and the butterscotch dessert. They were all very good. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended! Read more
