Ordered take out today 08/07 Drunken noodles was pretty salty and spicy even though I told them to not make it spicy. "Shrimp"... spring rolls had no shrimp in them. I don't know if I will be ordering from here again Read more
Oh the wonder of living in a diverse community! This is a place to start if you want to sample some Lao cooking! We came in... close to closing to order some food. The food was ready in about 20 minutes. It seems like plenty of pick up orders were placedand picked up while we were there. They were happy to serve us as well as another late arrival or two even though we weredangerously close to encroaching on their ?family dinner? at the end of a long work day. We ordered the drunken noodles withpork. They were excellent! They were topped with a nice assortment of perfectly cooked vegetables. The pork was delicious! Wealso had the green curry with chicken and the mango curry within a combination of shrimp and squid. Both curries werewell-crafted with layers of flavor and spice. You need to try this place! Stopped for lunch. We seated ourselves as there was one waitress at the time and she was busy with customers. Another waitress... came in and brought us water shortly after we sat down. I ordered the Basil Fried Rice and my friend ordered Thom Som (ashredded green papaya with fish sauce, garlic and tamarind). We ordered Fresh Spring Rolls for an appetizer. The food was allgood. I didn't care for the flavor of the Thom Som when I tasted it. The Basil Rice was tasty but I didn't get much of the basilflavor. The Fresh Spring Rolls were very good. I liked the peanut sauce that they came with. There was no "lunch" menu so youpay regular menu prices. There are allot of choices in Madison for this type of cuisine, but this place is worth stopping by. Read more
Ordered takeout here for four people- fantastic service and food! Lots of good vegetarian options and their spice levels were... consistent & as advertised. My two star curry was spicy enough to be flavorful but not so much that it hurt, while my partner'sfour star 'native spice' dish made my face flush and my ears burn after just one bite! Staff were all very kind and helpful,and our order was exactly as requested. Especially appreciated their patience and thoroughness when taking my order over thephone. Really enjoyed having dinner here, and will make a point to come back next time we're in town! Read more
