Himal Chuli is one of the classic small businesses that makes State Street great. Had some time to fill on a Wednesday afternoon... so I stopped in for a little bite. I ordered the samosas, which were as delicious as they were beautiful. I was pleasantlysurprised that the order included a delicious cup of dal too. Absolutely recommend for flavors that are a little of the beatenpath! Read more

The food tasted good and was very fresh, but quite oily. It ended up making me really sick, but I?m in cancer treatment so... anything could be a gamble. I had the eggplant and spouse had the lamb (which he absolutely loved). Read more

While walking down State Street, came across this place. As the outside seating area was busy we decided to give it a try. I am... not sure if all the dishes were authentic but they did have flavor. However, we felt that both the veggie dishes tasted somewhatsimilar. The dishes were definitely fresh. Enjoyed the soup the most. If you like spicy, try their hot sauce, it was fantastic. It is hot so be careful. Our server was attentive and she was very friendly. The food was served without any delays. Overallexperience was average. Read more

Awesome food and good portions. Cozy place. Friendly and fast service. Good selection of vegetarian and meat options. Try... the fresh chili hot sauce in the side orders section - it's great and decently spicy. Read more

This place had the coolest vibe, it was like a boutique hole in the wall. I really enjoyed the more obscure Nepal food, and I... loved the Golden tea. I think it was a tad on the pricey side, but the quality was great and it didn't take too long to get myfood at all. Fun place to hang out with friends even though it closes pretty early. Read more

I ordered a platter. The menu said it comes with a variety of sauces so you can try all of them. However there was only one... sauce, when I asked they said that's the only sauce they have. I had to shove dry roti with water. Very short staffed. Therewas only one person serving all the tables. Water spilling from the tables and dishes falling since he was trying to hurryup. The place did not feel clean! It is NOT worth at all, for the price they charge for the dishes. Read more

This is a great place if you are looking for some different flavors. Nepalese and a bit of Indian cuisine and flavors. Great... vegetarian options. Loved the Dal soup and combo platter we ordered. Samosas seemed a bit bland but overall ok. Read more
