(Added 5-21-19) The "daily special" offered on the 21st was mostly chopped lunch meat in a tomato sauce -- notvery good. No more "daily specials" for me. ... Pleasant wait staff, nicely-prepared food from a simple menu, quiet atmosphere,organic eggs and locally-made sourdough bread. Reasonable prices. All tips go to Friends of Meriter Scholarship Fund. This is a good cafe for getting healthy food to go. I also enjoyed their healthy options (which are uncommon for Madison). Most... of waitstaff though could use some morale lifting- they were unfriendly and seemed that they didn?t want to be there and did notcheck in to see if I needed anything. In fact, it seemed I was burdening them and one didn?t even respond when I said ?thankyou.? I think people use this cafe because it?s convenient in the hospital but it definitely is not a real restaurant asadvertised. Read more
Great place to eat if at the hospital. Better quality food than cafeteria. Was at the hospital 4 days and stopped here several... times. Food made to order in approximately 10-20 minutes. Also has an outside sitting area in addition to inside seating. Read more
