The hotel decor is very charming. However, the atmosphere was extremely stressful & chaotic. I?m sure this is a fun place to... stay if you are here to party. But if you want to sleep?i strongly recommend some other place. Drunk people were stomping around& screaming all hours of the night. The room next to us was blasting music until I finally called the front desk at 2:30 a.m-the first time I have ever complained at a hotel or maybe anywhere?but it was so ridiculous to pay $200 a night for a place tosleep & then not be able to sleep there. I?m not sure why they designed the rooms so that the headboard of our bed was rightagainst the thin wall we shared with the room next door- that seemed like a poor layout. I am absolutely exhausted today. Theroom was also extremely small, the Internet did not work well, & some of the outlets didn?t either . I was looking forward tostaying here because it looked so classy and like a really unique experience, but in reality it was beyond disappointing. Can?tbelieve I wasted my money on this place. :( Read more

It was great except for 2 nights at $300 a night they couldn?t store our bags for a few hours after checking out - these are... bags that we can carry on an airplane!! And no late check out offered Read more

Groovy, valet took care of stressing about parking, right on the college campus and near state street. So impressed with... visiting Madison for the first time. The upstairs restaurant is pretty bare bones in terms of menu and it?s mostly collegestudents serving you, same at Poindexter coffee; that?s not a bad thing but it?s something to expect in the area Read more

After leaving Baltimore at 4:00 am to get to Wisconsin for a speaking engagement, The Graduate got me into a room at 11 am and... the staff was very kind, efficient, and accommodating. DID I MENTION IT WAS MOVE IN DAY FOR THE UNIVERSITY?! The front deskcould not have been more gracious and calm even in the thick of things. I was really grateful because I am recovering from aback injury so it was nice to have a place to rest in between meetings. I really like how they had some local snacks availablefor purchase. It?s nice to get a sense of place even if you?re just in town for the night. Stayed in a queen. Shower was hot, room was cute. Had Virgil Abloh (RIP) on my check in card. 10/10 would recommend the hotel and the jalapeño cheddar potatochips. Read more

Hotel that gives the feels like you're back in college! Great location! 5 minute walk to the Memorial union and a 1 minute walk... to State Street. Staff was outstanding. Definitely book this hotel for your next trip to UW-Madison! Read more

The themed decor is cute and the location is convenient, but we were disappointed overall. The rug was stained in several places... and the bathroom needed a deep clean. I've never seen such a small and spartan bathroom in a four-star hotel. It needs to berenovated for the nightly rate. I wouldn't stay here again. Read more

Very conveniently located to UW Madison and the Pyle Center. Service was good. Rooms were clean and we'll appointed, if small.... Outside noise was sometimes audible, but generally a great stay. Read more

When we checked in, the bathroom was filthy. There was dirt all over the tub and shower curtain, and it smelled so badly of... mildew. I called to have it cleaned, and they came, but the whole room still stank of mildew. Additionally, the room did not getvery cool in the dead of summer?the AC only goes down to 65, but it felt like 70?and stayed humid. The hallways are also dingyand humid, and I didn?t find the staff to be particularly nice or helpful. For the price you should just try to stay at theUnion hotels. The Graduate seems cute, but it?s really dysfunctional and honestly kind of gross. Read more
