Tasty ice cream in a wide array of flavors. Limited mochi flavors. Can't beat the orange custard chocolate chip!

Good ice cream selection despite having only two freezers, malt/shake/sundae options though rarely ordered. Ice cream options... fluctuate but generally expect at least Babcock flavors of Orange Custard Chocolate Chip; Union Utopia; and Chocolate Shoppeflavors of Exhausted Parent. 10% discount when paying with UW wiscard. Not highest rating b/c limited selection, frequently longlines - long enough that it's sometimes better to go get ice cream on state if you're heading by. Read more

I had the Chocolate Peanut Butter and it was amazing. Be weary, the lines could be very long. Not sure if they were... under-staffed or overwhelmed at the time of my visit. Despite the 15 min wait, the staff were very friendly and quick to servemy friend and I. The prices were fair and the ice cream was a 10/10. I strongly recommend this place. Read more

It's a delicious place for ice cream lovers ! Varieties of flavors and choices available. More to it, the ice creams are made... locally by the university's own dairy and from the cows grown in its own farm !! It's located in the heart and main attractionof the University - memorial union ! Being located next to the Lake Mendota and to an open Pavilion (also has plenty ofcomfortable sofa seating in-house), it's perfect place to relax and enjoy the ice cream. Read more

Double Turtle-... 2 scoops of ice cream topped with hot fudge, hot caramel, glazed pecans, whipped cream, & a cherry!!! It was heavenly. Anouting at the Terrace is incomplete without Babcock ice cream. Yummy goodness in a bowl. Fabulous ice cream.
