Big Sur Cantina is a new Mexican restaurant in Madison. They serve Cali-Mex food and specialize\nin handcrafted Margaritas.... They\'re located at the former O? Grady\'s location on Mineral Point Rd . Loved the vibe and feel of this place!! Great additionto Madison food scene.\n\nWe started with the guacamole trio it came with nachos and salsa. It was delicious and we couldn?tstop eating it. Then we ordered the tacos, they have a deal if you order 3 Tacos you get complementary rice beans . We triedthe fisherman, aguacate, flautas, from the farm, and hot Cheetos. Each of the the tacos tasted amazing and were perfectlyprepared.\n\nI love that they have vegan options and there is something for everyone on the menu. The service is great andwelcoming. The juke box is a great addition and adds to the fun.\n\nThey currently have brunch, lunch, and dinner\nservice.Don?t snooze and check it out today for delicious nachos, tacos, margaritas and more. Not off to a good start. The ambiance is lousy. So dark I can\'t even read the menu without using the flashlight on my phone. ... Service is also bad and slow. I asked to sit next to a window so I can see and was told no, because they only have 2 serversworking all 25 tables that are occupied. The food is okay, but nothing you can\'t get at a hundred other places in town. Theycharged $1.50 for a 1oz side of sour cream. Read more

This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Madison! The margaritas were absolutely delicious and refreshing. The Big Sur was... very tasty! Our meals were hot and full of flavor. We got tacos and a burrito and they were amazing! We cannot recommend thisplace enough! The staff is also hardworking and very friendly. I really hope people are patient with this place. Remember theyare a new business and we certainly hope they succeed and will be back! 10/10 Read more
Extremely good food had a burrito bowl. It had great flavor and was a sizable portion that filled me up. They also have well... made margaritas. My only complaint is I wish it was bigger. Atmosphere was lively but still quiet enough that I could talk withthe people at my table. I will be going back soon Read more
