Brisket & pulled pork very delicious & tender. Sausage was ok. Ho cakes were alright. Staff was very friendly
7/27/22 Purchase roast beef, white beans, and turnip greens. Haven't eaten there in a while. Apparently ever thing comes from a... can. Not fresh beans or turnip greens. I don't know how much this rating is necessarily the manager and teams fault as I think its probably really more a corporate... issue. This restaurant is in a terrible location - bad area of town. It needs complete renovation but I sure wouldn't do ithere. I'd love to see this location moved over closer to the nicer and safer side of town, closer to the people who would reallylove it and appreciate it - fire department, city hall, Dollar General headquarters, police department, couple of large churcheson that same road... etc. I thought for sure, two different times, they were about to get into an all out problem of sorts, whentwo different delivery drivers were upset with issues for some reason. Just not a good part of town (look at the crime rates andwhat they are for that area) I wouldn't come down here after dark for sure. Not safe. The amount of telling back to thekitchen while you're trying to eat is a little much. The food is good but the place looks run down and dirty, which is not agood first impression, no matter what the kitchen my truly look like in the back. This store needs to be relocated to a niceside of town and given a new fresh start with a newer and nicer building inside and out. We found this place just outside of Nashville the bbq is really good here and the staff were very friendly everything was great... but the only thing that needs to be corrected is the food could've been hotter,it's not a deal breaker it's just that's what Iprefer. With that being said I would definitely visit here again.???? Read more
Advertised as no frills BBQ and I will just confirm that. Place was neat, clean and the service was good. Having been to... scores of BBQ places I?d have to give it a better than average, but not top of the line. It was a pleasant lunch, and in a areapacked with crowed restaurants it was a place we could get in to. Gets a real OK from me. Read more

This was our first visit. We went thru the drive thru and felt rush ordering as the girl was speaking fast and was abrupt. We... ordered the super sampler. The brisket had no flavor and reminded us of pot roast. The pulled pork was dry and flavorless. Theribs were tender, but all the flavor was in the sauce. We also had the sausage, which was over smoked as it was very soft andsomewhat mushy. There was more we were not satisfied with as we were hoping for good tasting meats and sides. Read more
If a BBQ joint serves its bean from a can, go elsewhere! This BBQ was not bad, but it wasn't good. Coming from MN we wanted some... good BBQ, this is not it. Maybe a good local eat but if your going for a home-cooked BBQ experience try something else. Read more
