We went to a near by store and walked around for a few min and walked into the 1st open restaurant. Biladi was the lucky... winner and I'm happy we went. Food was good and the fresh juice drinks were very refreshing. I had the mixed meat plater andmy wife had the jumbo shrimp. My wife really enjoyed it and I liked my entree. Everything was fresh and we enjoyed it. Thankyou. Read more

I?ve eaten here several times now at this point and explored the menu a decent amount. My one qualm is that take away is... consistently late. If they say 25 minutes, they typically mean 35, but in the summer walking around Madison is a great way tokill time. Their dips are traditional and amazing, the babaganoush is a standout in my opinion. We?ve tried the spinach pie aswell and it was great and so crispy even for take away. Lunch specials make this place much more affordable during the week, but sometimes a dinner time shawarma platter just hits the spot. Definitely a solid greek/Mediterranean option in the Madisonarea. Awful - we ordered calamari appetizers which were overcooked like rubbery, the marinara was tasteless. Got the grilled fish with... spinach. While waiting, I heard the ding of a microwave. Yep, spinach came out of a frozen box. Fish was completely dried out, overdone. Waitress asked and we told her how overdone and dried out the food was and requested manager - who literally refusedto come by to address issues. We were only one of two tables occupied, the restaurant wasn't busy. Moe came out and sat down indining room corner but refused to come by. Unbelievable! Truly don't give a flying xyz attitude. Clearly we don't need topatronize restaurants with such poor customer service, in addition to fact the food was uniformly done poorly, presented with noflavor and came out of a microwave - overpriced, poor value. Never again. Read more

Just went here for Sunday brunch and it was outstanding. You can tell that everything they do is with love and fresh... ingredients. This is my absolute favorite spot in Madison for brunch, lunch and sandwich platters. And by the way, do not leavewithout dessert...either the baklava or my fave the kenufe....yum. Read more

Tiny place, very nice owners - just got takeout from them and their falafel and lentil soup were FANTASTIC! Best we?ve had and... we?ve had a ton of falafel and lentil soups. I also got beef shawarma but have not eaten yet (will probably eat for my nextmeal since I over-ordered). So yummy and inexpensive too! Read more

**NEW MANAGEMENT** Just wanted to say that first, in case you have had a negative experience with this restaurant in the past.... Do yourself a favor and go back now, husband and wife Anthony and Sarah are putting so much love and attention into running theplace. Now onto the food, their father makes every piece of food in house from fresh ingredients by hand and it shows. Ourappetizer was not only beautiful and delicious but quick. Followed by Lamb and Chicken that was cooked perfectly and had so muchflavor. We even had to take a piece of pistachio sponge cake home to enjoy later. This is an excellent local spot that I couldsee becoming very difficulty to get a table at as soon as word gets out of their quality. Go get some great food and say helloto their little baby Rianna while you're there. Read more
