Every experience at The Mermaid Cafe is excellent. Kind and attentive servers, excellent food, and super atmosphere. Definitely... has a ?Cheers? feel. You?re always a friend here, and they have great drink specials. I had a steak from another place in townthat is KNOWN for their steaks.... and they can?t hold a candle to the Mermaids filet. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The spinach and artichoke dip tasted... amazing. The wings felt defrosted and not that fresh. French fries were crispy and seasoned well. The chicken angel hair pastatasted a bit too salty for me. The desserts, Gia Gia and bread pudding were alright. They also tasted defrosted.
