Just got home from our first time at Riccardo's. We went with two other couples who have been many times. What a great dinner.... The restaurant was packed with and included 3 very large groups. I was concerned about having to wait on a very busy kitchen butour meals arrived in a very timely manner. The best bone in pork chop I think I have ever had. They were able to meet my spousesspecial diet request seamlessly and she along with everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Our friends told us it has beenlike this every time for them. Best service we have had in a very long time! Ask for Andreas, and Lauren. We had Shrimp Santorini, Lasagna, Chicken Alfredo,... Rib Eye steak and their Pork Chop. All was phenomenal, but the Pork Chop was the best, at least 1.5 inches thick withcaramelized apples,and juicy. Yes I said juicy as well as being very flavorful! You could never go wrong eating here. We wanted to try something new out of our norm. We drove down to Madison in on a Friday evening and found this place. Briefly... looked at the menus on yelp and decided to give it a shot. The place was very busy when we arrived around 7:00. They seated uswithout a reservation. We chose to site outside as the fall temps had arrived. I can’t find a bad thing to say about theplace. We started with a bowl of the lobster bisque. It was very good. My wife ordered a shrimp pasta dish, I had a grilled porkchop, and the kids each had a pasta dish. The food was fantastic. Everything was cooked properly and served in a timely manor.The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. With the appetizer, four meals, and four drinksour total came to $80. I should also mention that the service and atmosphere were outstanding. We will defiantly be back andlook forward to trying some of the other dishes this place has to offer. Read more

Decided to try something new for my birthday. Staff was attentive and polite but food was a little overpriced for quality... received. Sea Bass was had an extremely STRONG taste and unable to finish the dish. Daughter's pasta dish was decent, Husbandordered the special and it was ok. Let me start by saying, “Phenomenal!” I was in town for the weekend and I wanted to eat at a local favorite. I was... definitely not disappointed by my date’s restaurant choice. The staff/service was terrific and the atmosphere was awesome! Mr.had the Red Fish and I chose the pork chop with apples and mashed potatoes. Oh my goodness! With no doubt in my mind, that wasTHE BEST pork chop that has ever passed my lips! Cooked to perfection, it was crispy and golden brown. The meat was tender,juicy and the flavor unmatched! The cooked apples and mashed potatoes were excellent compliments to the meat. I will recommendthis restaurant to any and everyone and I look forward to being a patron here many more times! A wonderful dining experience for me and my guest. The menu offerings and atmosphere were excellent. Food was very well... prepared. Prices v portions were just and sufficient. Service was outstanding, patient, and prompt. This place appears to be afamily business and a great family dining spot with a great park just across the street for a nice walk! Read more

PORK CHOPS! The pork chops with fried apples are very special. Very. The ambiance and decor are lovely, the place is busy but... not crowded, and the food is very good.
