This is a great hometown place to stop and get a good meal. The location is in a great spot. The staff was very welcoming and... friendly. Our waitress was very good at her job. When you walked in it was like you were stopping over to friend or familymembers place for lunch. You will definitely enjoy going here. The prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend eatinghere. Read more

Great dinner the other night in Madison at the Chophouse Grille. We both enjoyed our dinners with the bourbon glazzed salmon and... the no bun hamburger. Place was packed and service was still great. Read more

Our food was delicious! I ordered the Alfredo! It was seasoned perfectly. My husband ordered the prime rib. It was cooked... perfectly. However, a little on the blander side! The green tomatoes were a little tough. But overall everything else wasdelicious and we would try this place again! Read more

Even though they were very busy, we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice. The atmosphere was fun. The food was... good! The meatloaves, fried green tomatoes, and broccoli and cheese were good. The bourbon glazed salmon didn't seem like it hadany seasoning or glaze on it but it was cooked well. The nachos were really the best thing we had. Great place to catch a gameon tv. Read more

There aren't enough superlatives to give this restaurant, from food to waitresses, everything was 5 stars! Honestly, this place... must've secretly made it for me and I was blessed enough to visit on a work trip. The house salad was crisp and refreshing andthey have my favorite house/ranch dressing. Their bread and honey butter will ruin any diet, it's like outback bread, again myfavorite. The blackened chicken with broccoli alfredo was to die for and will put you in an enjoyable food coma. Again, somehow, my favorite recipe!! I live almost 3 hours away but I will be driving back with the family just to eat here. I can'twait to try the other items on the menu and to possibly meet the owner/chef who clearly has the best taste in food. Read more

The Chop House Grille has a great location in downtown Madison and plenty of nearby parking. The interior is large and nicely... furnished with lots of windows. Outdoor tables are available for dining outside. The employees are friendly and welcoming andour food arrived within fifteen minutes of the time we ordered. There are a number of selections from entrees like meat loaf, chicken, or ribeyes to sandwiches, burgers, and salads. We ordered a fried shrimp plate with potatoes and broccoli and acountry fried steak plate with potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli was cooked just right but the mashed potatoes were a bitcool and the shrimp somewhat tough (overcooked). Dessert was buttermilk pie and it was delicious. Read more

Almost a 3 but I have it a 4. The bread was cold but the butter was soft. The fried green tomatoes were awesome. The salads were... generous with the toppings and dressing. Not all lettuce like some places. The Alfredo was bland. The sirloin was seasoned fair, but over temp. The onion rings were chewy and hard to eat. Service was pretty good. Read more

Very welcoming as soon as you arrive. Amazing staff, great environment, and this doesn't even begin to describe the food. I had... the Fish and Chips, partner had the porkchop. We loved our meal, but there is one standout... The best fried green tomatoes youhave ever had the privilege to eat can be found here. Thanks for an amazing meal. I also wish I was better with names but ourwaitress was amazing, even have us tips of things to photograph while in town. Can't recommend this place enough. Read more
