Had a delicious emergency dinner here after waiting almost 2 hours for grocery pickup. Fair warning, do not assume special sauce... is a cute way to say salsa. It means a type of Big Mac style mayo... I should have guessed that, but it just seemed too weird tobe the case. The first quesadilla I had, while tasty, was absolutely dripping from the mix of meat juice, cheese grease, andmayo. I did not get special sauce the next time and definitely preferred that. I've been back a few times and the food isgreat. I liked everything I've tried: tacos, tortas, and quesadillas. You know a place is good when you try a place for the first time on your lunch break and go back your next lunch break. The... first time I went, I had a torta with the pastor meat. It's the first time I've had a torta and definitely won't be the last.This time I got the street tacos and this place, hands down, has some of the best street tacos I've ever had. All the meats areseasoned well, it's hard to pick a favorite! The prices are also really good for what you get. I also got the horchata and itwas delicious. It's a little food truck in the parking lot of a marathon. Probably easy to overlook but don't! You have to trythis place. There is also two (4? It's like two large picnic tables connected together) huge picnic tables with large umbrella'sattacked for seating. The tables are clean and very nice. Update: I just had the best burrito of my life. Yum yum. The new-to-me dining experience I decided I'd try this week was Valentina's Kitchen - a cute lil permanent fixture at... a gas station right on the fringe of Madison and Huntsville. Valentina's keeps the menu pretty simple, which I really like. Your choice of a variety of meats (roasted chicken, carnitas, barbacoa, al pastor - just to name a few) can be applied to aburrito, tacos, quesadilla, or torta. Pretty straightforward. I love when chefs do a few things and do them all well. You canget bottled drinks if you're thirsty - think I spied "Mexican Coca-Cola" but I didn't order a drink so I'm not sure. You canorder at the window or call ahead. There's a couple of picnic tables nearby if you wanna eat there, but considering it was achilly, ugly day, I took my food to eat in the car. I would recommend eating it quickly, especially if you got a torta like me-- don't want any of this loveliness getting soggy or anything. The young lady working the truck was warm and polite. Shecooked my roasted chicken torta for me fresh - and fast! It came on two beautiful slices of bread, perfectly balancing soft,pillowy dough with crispy, tearable edges. The smoked chicken had tons of flavor and wasn't dry at all. Other toppingsincluded jalapeños, tomatoes, lettuce, Mayo, and Valentina's "special sauce" - which had a nice creaminess and subtle heat. Bewarned, this sandwich can be pretty messy - I'd make sure to eat it over the container it's served in, lol. But it was very,very, very tasty - and I'd absolutely order it again. Read more

First time here, will definitely not be my last! I'm not sure exactly which taco was which because I ordered one of all the... taco's on the cheaper side. And I'm glad I ordered like that because I probably would have just ordered the pork options. Andwhile they were all terrific, I really liked the two chicken ones the best. Minimalist menu because they know what they do well and know how to capitalize on it. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, wasready when we went to pick it up.
