Can?t believe we drove past this so many times and never stopped until recently. Now my favorite restaurant in the Madison area... for great food and friendly service. So far I?ve had the Clay Pot twice and always order the Egg Rolls which are not thegeneric frozen kind. So delicious! My son got the fried rice and it was super good. Stopped by while traveling through. We were craving pho and the reviews were good. After stopping by I see why. The pho broth... was very flavorful. I enjoyed it. Egg rolls were crispy and tasty just as advertised. Wish we would have ordered more. I alsogot a green tea boba and it was delicious too. Recommend stopping here. Friendly service and good food! We love this place. After trying other Viet spots in town, this is our favorite. They make pho-nomenal pho, sizzling hot and... delicious clay pot, and my personal favorite amazing bahn mi. This is so relaxed, comforting, healthy and plenty of options and good portions. Thai tea, boba pearls, noodle bowls, soups,... rice dishes of glory, spring rolls fried and garden style. It is worth a side trip even if you are busy!!! Read more

Simply put the food is fantastic and the welcoming environment, helpfulness, and accommodating spirt of the owner and waitresses... made the experience even better. A nice size of food selections which can be edited for different levels of spice if you canhandle it. I had the seafood pho and the shrimp clay pot which were both incredibly flavorful. The portion sizes were a lotlarger then I thought due to the price so either come hungry or you'll have leftovers for sure. Overall I honestly can't wait togo back. Read more
I don't usually get anything else other than Pho when I'm at a Pho house, but I wanted to try something different and I loved... that my dish came with egg rolls! I ordered their vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls. So good! The grilled pork wassweet and tender. The egg rolls were delicious. I was a little confused about what sauce to use for the dish. I just dumpedthe egg roll sauce in with some hoisin and Sriracha and it was good! My friends ordered the Tofu and Grilled Pork Banh Mi andthey thought it was good as well. I brought one home for hubby and he said it was good but a little bready. I didn't realize Ididn't post my review before, it remained as a draft. We've since gone again and this time had Pho. The pho was pretty good,but I think I prefer Viet Huong. The broth was okay, it didn't have a super beefy flavor but it was decent and salted nicely. I ordered the Pho with all the types of beef and counted maybe two pieces of each. Now I actually haven't been to Viet Huong ina while but I'm pretty sure the same bowl had a lot more meat to it. The surprise dish I liked was the wings. It actuallysmelled a little weird when it came and didn't look like it would be crispy, but it crisp and delicious. It's not crispy like abattered wing, but the skin was nice and crisp. My daughter had the chicken curry, she doesn't like fruit and was a littlegrossed out that there was pineapple in the dish. I even read out loud to her that there was pineapple in the dish. She toldme she wasn't listening to me. Any way you can definitely order this without pineapple.
