Although it took a long time for me and my family to be seated and for the food to arrive, customer service was excellent and... the food was delicious. I got the Fruity Begian Waffle and it tastes way better with fruits than just plain because it barelyhas taste but it is thick and fluffy and well cooked with HOT SYRUP! There isn't anything on this menu that is sub-par. Everything is delicious! Try everything you won't be disappointed. Diner food... but kicked up a notch with amazing flavors and thought put into the recipes. Our favorite comfort food go-to place frombreakfast to dinner. Read more
Good down home cookin.. from a chain is hard to find! The servers are pleasant, fast, and accurate. The food is always the same... and delicious. The steak and scramble bowl is amazing. The cinnamon roll pancakes are delicious. You can never go wrong at metrodinner. For weekends go online and sign up for the wait list to cut your wait time down as they are always busy! Read more

Nice little retro diner. Service was great and the place was clean. I got the special Sticky Chicken and it was awesome. My... daughter loved the Mac and Cheese and son loved the kids pancakes. Wife thought the eggs Benedict was good but could use moresauce and the eggs a bit more runny. My cousin got a chicken salad and said the chicken was a bit dry on the ends. We had a large family party with reservations on a busy Friday night. Our waitress was wonderful and all of our dishes were... served in a reasonable time. Everyone in our large and hungry party was happy with their tasty offerings. I had the CharlestonShrimp & Grits and they were absolutely delicious. It was presented well with a big helping and popping with a nice Cajunflavor. I'm sad to say this was our first time back to Metro since their opening year. We won't make that mistake again.
