The Brass Captain is a fun place! The staff is great, the food was excellent. We had the smoked wings and the 3 Meat plate; we... put all of it in the middle of the table and had a great time eating, playing games like darts and corn hole, and listening togood music. Read more

Usually stop here when it's too crowded at Hippy across the street (same owner). We can socialize here if there's a band at... Hippy. They just added a BBQ menu (which is fantastic) . Your basic beers are available. Don't expect any fancy craft beers.They have AC units around so it's much cooler inside here. They have some outdoor seating but not much. Read more

I wouldn't recommend this bar to anyone, especially if you're married. The bartender (Denise) is two faced and will try and... break up you and your spouse. She acts all friendly to your face, but as soon as one of you are not there or use the restroom,she's in the other persons ear talking negative about the other one. Plus she's old and washed up and should probably retire. Iwill make sure I tell everyone I know not to patron this place and how the bartender is the worst. If I could give zero stars Iwould. Owner of establishment (Brass Captain) put up post office parking signs. Figured this was for during the day when the post... office is open. Signs were generic and looked hand made. There were no tow away signs visible at all! Needless to say ourvehicle was towed without proper signage being displayed. Had we seen a PROPER, LEGAL sign, we would have parked elsewhere!Finding out our vehicle had been towed we were perplexed. There were no tow away signs. We finally found one though, it washidden behind the DUMPSTER!!! Not visible at all!! Entrapment at it?s finest! Brass Captain is probably getting a kickback fromall the new tows. Definitely illegal! If you put up a sign maybe also add ?Post Office parking ONLY! All other vehicles will betowed!!? That would have saved us and others the headache of dealing with A- 1 Towing.
