It's always a good day when it starts at a waffle house.
Went to Georgia to visit family and learn more about my family. Stayed a hotel in walking distance to waffle house so we... decided to give it a try. We ordered waffle, sausage and egg which was good. The server was very nice, the restaurant itselfwas clean and the atmosphere was delightful. I would definitely recommend you give it a try. Sharod (Larry) and Lee were the perfect duo on the grill. That bacon was absolutely delicious and just as crispy as i asked for.... Andre was super cool and the girl waiting on the other tables seemed very efficient. Looked very clean. Our food came out yummyand we got in and out pretty quickly. Great experience here! This was the first Waffle House I went to and by far the best! I was on a road trip from Canada to... Florida and I went to this Waffle House several times while staying in Macon, while in Florida I went to several other wafflehouses but the service at this one in Macon really stood out. The team does a fantastic job and seems to work very well togetherand the food was very good and very consistent. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who?s interested. Read more
I love waffle house breakfast when I am traveling! Great food to warm your tummy! Today I enjoyed pecan waffles with chocolate... chips and bacon in the side! Our waitress, Dee was impressive! As an out of state patron, in Macon for my grandmothers homegoing service this weekend, this locations hospitality was beyond... sad to say the least!! Once I walked in, no hello, we'll be right with you, simply no acknowledgement at all all the while,there was eye contact which I gave with a smile.... the place was a mess, food and dishes everywhere (counter and tables), thecooking station were unkept (nothing wiped inbetween orders). Do note, I only noticed 2 workers and it was after 8pm (why werethey short staff can't be answered by me so I looked passed that momentarily, and found the menu myself, well to my dismay,nothing looked pleasing for the price (as i guess my presence felt disregarded), still no acknowledgement to which was my que toleave..... yet, I heard someone say bye!! ????
