The bad reviews on this place are spot on. They got a new manager over there a couple years ago and they have run it right into... the ground. That Popeyes used to have a steady flow of traffic, now it's a ghost town over there most of the time. I guesspeople draw the line when you're giving nasty attitude to go along with old chicken. The food was amazing but the customer service was awful. The manager at least I think that's who it was leaned out of the drive... thru windowed cursed me and was just rude. I thought for a minute I was on bloopers tv show. The young lady was either very newwith no training at all or just did not care. I sat in the drive thru for 30min just to find out they had nothing that Iordered. I was told we are closing. It was 9:05pm and they close at 10pm. On September 30, 2022 I went to Popeyes Chicken on Shurling Dr. I ordered the five piece for $6.99. I was driving to Atlanta... when we opened the box. The wings and legs were very small, like Hot Lanta wings. There were no thighs in the box. I was thefirst customer this morning and I expected the chicken to look golden brown but they weren't. They were small, a lot of skin washanging off of the pieces. I asked for spicey chicken, my chicken was not spicey. The chicken was over cooked and dry, they werecooked so long they had dried up. The cook had on a dirty T-shirt that looked as though he had worn it for some days. One of theemployees was walking back and forth from the counter to the dining area eating. I watched her because I was concerned that shewould touch my food. Working in food service is no joke, I know that from 28 years experience. Whatever type of job we have weshould do it to the best of our ability and move on when the time is right. I am always disappointed with the quality of fastfood. Read more
