I ordered 5 piece fish and 2-12piece shrimp. The fish was not whole pieces of fish?they were cut in half. I ordered 5 pieces... they gave me 7 because they were cut In 1/2. I should have been given 10 because they were cut I half. The food was fried inOLD grease. The plate my food was in was brown from the old grease. I suggest anybody ordering food from here ask when was thelast time they changed their frying oil. The picture I added is a paper towel I laid my fish on to soak up the grease and thefish even turned my paper towel brown from the OLD GREASE. The cook here should be ashamed. They charge enough for food here tohave enough money to change their frying oil. This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Message to the owner?. Tell your cook to change thefrying oil. We had a GREAT time!! We had such a good time, We went 2 nights in a row LOL! Huge portions...I had the fish and wings plate.... It was enough to split with someone else. If you get the fish, make sure you try their homemade tarter sauce. Their drinks aregood too. The first night I had the "Bob Marley" but the 2nd night I tried the "3N1" which was my favorite. Ordered the 3 piece fish meal. Food was good however I was given 1 tarter sauce for 3 pieces of fish. Then had to pay 50 cents... for extra. It?s ridiculous that you don?t get enough condiments for the food and have to pay for more. Should be more customerfriendly and not nickle and dime everything Read more
I don't live in the middle Georgia area anymore but everytime I'm home, I always try to find a reason to come to Overtyme. I... came here most recently for my cousins birthday and we had a really good time. This is the type place where everyone can comeand have fun (young and old). Drinks are inexpensive and the bartenders are cool. The food is typical bar food but its good andits consistent (the housemade sauce is also really good). One thing that isn't as consistent are the waitresses. Sometimes youwill have a good one and sometimes you won't (unfortunatley, the last time we came, we didnt have a good waitress), but we evenwith that, Overtyme is still a place that you should visit if you are in the area.
