My husband and I shared a steak bowl. It was so good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Went got food last night they were putting up food early talking about they had a catering to do or something. It was 8 o'clock... they close at 930. Just sad and the prices are ridiculous especially when they barely have FRESH toppings to choose from. Iwouldn't eat here ever again. I was there a couple of days ago. Please wear hairnets! There was a long black curly hair in my cup of pico de gallo when I got... home with my order..which was the fajita kit. Not a fan. I went to eat this evening and arrived at 8:00, they are open until 9:30. I ordered a white meat chicken quesadilla... and a white meat chicken bowl. I was told they were out of white meat chicken and they would not make anymore. So I settled fordark meat on the quesadilla and steak on the bowl. The bar with condiments was looking sparse, there was hardly any black beansand no more rice after making my bowl. I paid for the meals and sat down to eat. The first bite was fine, but after that themeal went downhill fast. The black beans were as hard as uncooked rice and I had pieces of steak as hard as a rock. I thought itwas just a bad bite, but after ten different attempts at picking food from different spots in my bowl, I gave up in fear ofcracking a tooth. When I went back to the counter asking for a refund because the food was inedible, the staff member obligedafter asking if I would like my food remade. I told him I would just like a refund, the woman who initially didn?t want to makeany more chicken as it was, so I thought it best to just get dinner somewhere else. The queso dip, 4 of us shared this box which was plenty and we had leftovers. Only 1 of us like the queso dip. The black beans... were cooked well. I requested no jalapeños, but got them anyway. I requested a side of guac, good thing it was only a taste Iguess, it was chunky and flavorful, it was enough for 3 people to taste and I used it the next day on bread for half a turkeysandwich, otherwise the price is a rip off at $1.49 as it is at most places. I sent my husband in to get the order (telling himdon't forget the guac, I paid extra for it), he said he told them who the order was for the pointed to the box on a shelf. Hesaid they did not greet him or say anything, and he got the box and left. He came back everything looked good, minus the noguac. There are plenty of chips, days and days of chips (2 bags), everything was arranged well. I had 2 order receipts and onesaid guac and the other one didn't. He made another trip back with the original box of food, no greeting again and theyrequested he prove to them by showing a receipt, so he did and one person looked at it, then another one I guess had to checkit, they took the receipt, dipped out some guac and handed him the container, no apologies, nothing and he came back out. Theguac was so good as was everything else that came with the box, minus the queso. I wonder if the recipe has changed because Ididn't like it this time. I do not think I will return, I thought they used to greet you by saying Welcome to Moe's, guess thatitsn't a thing anymore, they had another chance in case they forgot, and they could have sorry about that when they made themistake. All it takes is I apologize, sorry about that something and not having to prove something, in their error. My husbandsaid no, he would not go back. Tried The Stack for the first time and it was delicious which is to be expected of Moe's. I am a pretty picky eater so I love... that I can customize my order. The queso is always amazing and a must have every time I come. At lunch time be prepared for itto be busy though but they always move the line in and out pretty quick. Read more
So I make I have everything before I leave no matter where I order from. Of course everyone knows you can click yes on "i want... my free chips and salsa" and I made sure I order some queso as well. Well here's the reason I gave them a one star review. Iwent into the store, wasn't greeted but that's OK. Had already put in my order online, but was told it would be a while. Heythat's fine too. I'm patient. So when my order was FINALLY ready after watching several customers get their food before minewas ready. And I ask "hey man, did you make sure that that queso and salsa are in the bag properly so they don't spill" beforehe could answer, a very rude young female employee snapped at him, grabbing the receipt and bag and rolling her eyes to say"YES! Everything is in there!". Guess what guys... No Salsa and no queso! Not even gonna mention that the tacos were completelywrong and my burrito was falling apart.
