The food is pretty ???????? good. I got the catfish fillet and fries. The Downside is they are higher than other other... Restaurants with the same offerings. Also no Drink comes with the meal and is extra. Also they don't have wing flavors besidejust regular wings. Which is disappointing. Read more
On 4/25/22 my husband and I ordered from this restaurant for the first time even though it was expensive for seafood especially... we thought why not let's try something new. Several hours later we greatly regretted it we both got sick right after eating thecatfish meal. Let me tell you the fish was so old and heat lamped that it made my husband extremely nauseated and he constantlyran to the bathroom getting sick to his stomach for almost 3 days. Sadly my husband was in so much pain and was so sick fromthis food that he had to call in off work from his new job. The portions are nice and the food looks good but we all know lookscan be deceiving we are very unsatisfied with our experience and will not eat from here ever again. Read more
I came to Macon on a business trip and was looking for a place to eat dinner. I found JJ Fish and Chicken and I was really... impressed! They have a lot of different choices. I had the small tender meal and it was far, far from small! The containerbarely closed because it was so full! I got 4 large chicken tenders, a pile of fries and a couple slices of bread. It wasenough for 2 people to eat! The tenders are huge, crispy, and super tender. The fries are hot and crispy. They sprinkled somesort of flavor on everything and it gave it a little something extra. They also had a dessert case with several deliciouslooking varieties of cake, but I was too full to try one! My meal was delicious and if I lived in Macon, I would eat here everyweek!! Read more

My first time, was ok. The restaurant was cleaned and well sectioned off. The service was great. Need the pagers to inform... customers out side that their order is ready! Just a suggestion. Smiles all all around! Food was good to the eye as well astasteful. Suggest you ask customer concerning the salt..a bit too much on the chicken. ???????? Great job! Welcome to Macon! Read more
So I went and tried JJ fish& chicken a Chicago style establishment that just opened up here in Macon. And I must say they are... much better than Shark's buuuut the chicken could be a lil more tender once you get to the actual meat the skin on the otherhand perfect fry on it and seasoned to perfection! I also tried the corn nuggets, fried mushrooms, and French fries as my sides.The corn nuggets were fried a little too long which made the corn a tid bit chewy on the inside of the nuggets. And themushrooms need to be smaller or cut in half if they are gonna use big mushrooms. And the fries eat em while they are hot! So ona scale of 1 to 10 I give JJ fish & chicken a hard 7.5. Can't wait to go back and try another item soon....A little update onJJs I have gotten to try a few other food items and my favorite so far is the crab bites, and their fried wings. The fried fishisn't bad neither. But the fries could use a little upgrade. Read more
