This lil place on the lake is LITERALLY THE CUTEST. Everyone that worked there was SO beyond polite, even the customers were all... super cool and very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, we came for drinks/karaoke after hearing all the fun across the lake. Idefinitely want to become a regular at this place. I live in North Georgia, but have marked this place on my Google maps and Iwill surely be making visits down here from here on out! This is my new go-to place when I'm in the Macon area. My husband and I spent our first year anniversary here. The scenery was beautiful. The band played well. Customer service was... great. The food is over priced. It had little to no seasoning and my husband did not eat his food. His tenders wasn't done andhis ribs was fried hard. It looked like wood. That was our first and last time there. Read more
I came to this place a few weeks ago to have dinner and drinks with my two girlfriends. The food was descent but the real... highlight of the evening was our super cute, pregnant waitress. She was full of energy and had a great personality. When myfriend didn?t like her coleslaw (bc they add vinegar to it) she replaced it with another side item with no problem. Our wait wasonly 20 min to get a table and the drinks were strong. For some descent fried seafood on the water, you should definitely trythis place. Also, the boiled peanuts were delicious! Read more
Nice view of the lake. Fresh catch fish was delicious and cooked just right/ not overcooked. I had collard greens and fried okra... tots as sides. They were both delicious. Peach cobbler a la mode was to die for. Not too sweet. Everything I ordered was superb.Plus, friendly service. Read more
I was hoping for a great taste of food because of the reviews. The food is less than seasoned or even tasteful The gator bites... were Cajun without any flavor. As you can see,, the hushpuppies were over cooked.. Not sure if they were authentic gatorbites. The macaroni and cheese was a huge disappointment. The prices are ridiculously over priced even if we are in apandemic. The waitress did tell me food has changed since the head chef left and never returned from the pandemic. Needlessto say, I won't return not even for the nice view of the lake. I gave 3 stars because of the Lakeview and the nice waitress. Read more
Excellent. The fried cat fish fillets were perfectly cooked. The collard greens were tasty and tender.
I struggled between 4 and 3 stars and settled on 2. Lots of buzz around this place - the views are great indeed! But regretfully... food is average. Everything is, of course, fried - but too much. A little less would bring out natural flavors. Also our servicewas below average. Dirty tables, plates were never cleaned off, took forever to get a drink or a refill. And no beer on tap!?Really the only reason I'd come back is to sit outside with a cigar. Read more
