It was an overwhelmingly positive experience at Chen?s Wok VIII. The staff was very accommodating and worked personally with me... to find a meal that fit my dietary restrictions. Not only were they helpful, but also incredibly joyful and kind. You can tellthat they care about each person and that they know each person is unique and unrepeatable The portion sizes were generous andplentiful. A further star comes in the fact that they were open late on a Sunday night and thus helped us dearly on our longroad trip. Stopped in for lunch today and what a treat. Judy is a very friendly happy and helpful person when your not sure what to eat. We... were there when she opened and the smell of fresh cooked food made me even hungrier. I had the braised chicken wings which wasfantastic! I also had some hot & sour soup that was very tasty with the right amount of spice. Wife had general tso chicken withrice and sweet and sour chicken. Dont forget a spring roll. The place looks fast food but the quality of the food saysotherwise. If you want to have some fresh, good authentic tasting Chinese food do not hesitate to make this your stop anytimeyou are in the area. Thanks so much Judy for a smile and delicious food!!! Lovely people and delicious food. No frills, straightforward, just what we wanted for a quick stop to grab dinner on a road... trip. They did not have ready to go vegetarian options so they quickly made up a veggie noodles takeaway for us and it is yummy! Read more
Fresh cooked shrimp with broccoli is good. But the rice, under the lights leaves something to be desired. Not fresh. If it comes... out the back, it's going to be good. If it's under the lights, well it is up to chance. Read more
The customer service was amazing so I desperately wanted the food to be on the same spectrum. Unfortunately there was nothing... special about the taste but the shrimp was a pleasant surprise. The size of the shrimp appeared to be a large. The search forgood food continues. Read more
Food was way too sweet. Might be a preference of local clientele? Dunno but don?t think I can come back.
