The food is always great. Watching it being prepared in front of you with the skills of the chef is fascinating. My only let... down is the ambiance of the place is lacking due to cardboard boxes stacked around all the walls with plastic ware and to gopackaged for leftover food. Did lunch take out order via Uber eats for Hibachi lunch (Genji special - chicken and shrimp) with fried rice upgrade came with... miso soup and ginger salad. I have to say for the price they serve up a good entree size portions. Alot of other places upchargefor the fried rice but not here. Plenty of leftover from the meal. Highly recommend them. This place is racist & the Asian females that serve you in the dining room were nice and kind to the white people there but rude... and disrespectful to me and my father. I said please & thank you in every interaction. They would not greet me with the samecourtesy. The lady snatched my cup outta my hand to refill it with water. We were the only black people in the restaurant andbarely got any service. This is my second time coming here and receiving this type of service. Even the cook was rude when hebrought the food out. Overall I feel this place is extremely racist and I will never go back. I spent over $100 here on 2 mealsnot including my 20% tip. Read more
Came here for a birthday and it was perfect! The staff is so kind, the chefs are fantastic, the presentation is beautiful, and... you get a LOT of wonderful food at a good price. I got the scallops and filet; and they were better tasting/better cooked thanmost of the places around here that charge $48 per steak! I got a decent sized filet mignon, large scallops, veggies, friedrice, soup, and a salad for ~$30. It was a great night! Read more
Made a reservation to celebrate a birthday. First time visiting this place. We had high hopes because the person on the phone... told us we would love it! We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and had to wait to be seated (this is fine, as itwas pretty busy.) Once seated a waitress came over to get our drink orders. When she came with our drinks she handed them out tothe wrong people - this was easy to correct. Then she took our orders. She had a hard time hearing us over the fan and we had ahard time hearing what she was asking. She tried to skip some people ordering due to being unable to hear. After our orders werein and the chef arrived - the waitress never came back! We never got our white rice, and no refills for drinks, even when wetried to flag someone down. We had to ask for boxes and for the check. The food was alright, not as good as some other localrestaurants, and the service was TERRIBLE. They also charge an 18% COVID surcharge on the bill (the sign is at the entrance.)Unfortunately, the wait staff should consider that the tip with service like what we received. Fresh and delicious Chinese food. Got the 4/$50 Whole fried fish with special sauce, spicy squid, spicy shrimp, and beef brisket... with tofu. Generous amount. Waitess was super nice and friendly. Read more
