Grabbed lunch at Carters for Cinco De Mayo, as it seemed to be one of the few places I could order and get my food wihout a 45+... minute wait. I gave them 3 stars because the service was prompt and the employees were friendly, but thats about where it ends.Its hardly authentic by any means. The enchiladas were very salty and the rice and beans had little to no flavor at all. Thesalsa was OK, but the chips were super greasy. The street tacos had a lot more meat than most places. But thought the chicken was to salty and more cilantro should be put on... them. Would try them again. The place was clean and busy, lots of people picking up and also picking up catering. It did seemlike it?s geared more towards pick up and catering orders. They only had one person to waitress the dining area and attend toall of the pick up orders. They are conveniently located at the southwest corner of Hayes and 22 mile. The only suggestion Iwould have besides adding less salt to the chicken would be a put a little bit more lighting towards the back of the diningarea. Read more
February 2022 - wife and I wanted tacos so we went with this place. Very good place. Small but the food is good. Mexican corn... was really good. My daughter (4 yr) loved the soft taco. She wanted me to go back for more. They do a deal on Tuesday's fortacos. Read more
This place is awesome. Love the food. The firey Cheese and Byo-burrito was amazing. Got to sample everything in the pictures and... it was all fantastic. Reminded me of home... This place is a must try if you are by there. Super friendly staff and fast, notrushed food. Read more
We ordered the carnitas street tacos, and chicken flautas. Everything was really good. It was the first time I had flautas and... they were crunchy and delicious. I love street tacos and these did not disappoint, probably some of the best I've had. Enjoyedthe avo sauce as well. Read more

We stopped into Carter's Cantina last night for a quick bite and I'm glad we did. I believe they just opened and there is not... much in the physical dine-in area yet - no decor inside, no remodel from the previous Thai restaurant. However, that does not atall distract from the fact that the food was great and the servers were extremely attentive and friendly. We will definitelyreturn for some fast, affordable Mexican food. Not that great. Chicken street tacos were so salty that I just threw it away. For the price of the food, the food isn't up to... par to other Mexican restaurants. Sadly I would say tacobell is better than this place. I 100% regret coming here. 40 dollarsfor bottom of the barrel food was pretty disappointing. Staff was super friendly hence the 2 stars. Read more
