I am a southern guy who grew up with very fine and tender meats. Let me tell you this place has some of the best chicken and... meat I have ever had. I have had food in over 6 countries and this place is on par OR BETTER. The owner is very nice and it?s agreat atmosphere. The wine was incredible and everything they cook is fresh. Highly recommend anyone who just likes good foodand kind people. If you come to the Island this place is a MUST. Read more

A solid place for unique Jamaican food. Prices were really expensive but so is the rest of the island. If you want to save money... pack a lunch, but I recommend Jamaican food over the whitefish due to the punch in flavor!! We would the coconut curry rice andwhitefish sandwich. The fries were cold with the sandwich and I preferred the Jamaican fare Read more

This is my favorite restaurant on Mackinac Island. I always try something different. This time I ordered the Jamaican Fried... Chicken which was seasoned and cooked well. Appetizers were delicious also. Authentic Jamaican experience ???? I have eatenplenty of Jamaican foods and find Kingston Kitchen to be one of the best with reasonable portions. Go taste for yourself. Read more

Fantastic lunch at Kingston Kitchen, located in the Village Inn. Menu features a Jamaican-influenced take on many American... favorites, flavorful without the heat, as well as Jamaican faves. I had the Calypso Pork sandwich, consisting of very tenderjerk pork, melted cheddar, pineapple relish, and crunchy onions on top. Glad I skipped the brioche bun, which left room for myhusband and I to share most of this eye-popping slice of chocolate coconut cake. Wonderful food, great value. Read more

We stopped here for lunch during a visit to Mackinac Island. We had the Jerk Bacon BLT and the Kingston Classic cheeseburger.... The BLT was good without being too spicy. The burger was very average. It was very dry and there was to much bun. We had DietCoke to drink but it tasted like something else. The bill was about $50 and really not worth it. Read more

Was excited to find a Caribbean restaurant on mackinaw island and glad that this option exists. The service was amazing and the... both the front hostess and our server were very kind. We enjoyed the food but with just a few suggestions. The goat curry had areally delicious flavor, but we found that it was a little difficult to eat because it had too many little bones). The whitefishdish had good flavor, but just found it a little bit on the dry side. We liked how on the cocktail menu there an option toorder a 3 drink sampler (basically mini versions of any 3 drinks off the menu to give you the option to try more). Read more

Good experience. Kendall, the bartender/server, was excellent and knowledgeable about the menu and Mackinac Island. He gave me a... sample of vodka they had made. It was the best vodka I've tasted. The burger I had was cooked to perfection and tastedoutstanding. The chef and the other employees were friendly. The food is expensive, but you have to expect that when you dine ina tourist attraction, especially if it's an island. Overall, Kingston Kitchen was awesome and a perfect way to end my couple ofhours touring Mackinac Island and walking the trails. I'd eat at Kingston Kitchen again. Read more
