We eat lunch here fairly often, the kids love the interior! Very cool ambience. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be back. The... salad I ordered for $22 was about a third of the size that I would expect for that price. I assumed that a mistake was made andthat I was served a side salad instead of an entree salad, but was told that it was the right size. I brought up the issue, asked if there was a manager I could talk to, and waited at the table for about 10 minutes before being informed that themanager wasn't willing to talk about it. All in all we ended up spending over $50 on a kid's meal, a sandwich, and a tiny salad.Would have been about half that price anywhere else nearby. Bummer. Read more
I LOVE this restaurant!! It?s one of my favorite things about traveling up north to ride the trails. This place is an... experience! The restaurant side is beautiful with tree foliage, rocks, and streams cutting in and out - truly like you areeating in the mountains. The bar side is huge and always has the latest sport games on. The draft list is mass and alwayscold. The food menu is packed with flavor and gluten free options are available in every item! Gluten free pasta is availableand gluten free buns! If you get a sandwich or burger I highly suggest trying the ranch or garlic cream cheese dressing, incredibly delicious. The Annabel pasta is pack with flavor and is a decent size. Read more
This was a nice meeting place. I like when I pulled in the parking lot it had up on the roof line snowmobiles & other types of... vehicles line up on it. A nice quiet rustic place with great food & atmosphere. Shown in the picture is a tree spread thru therestaurant. Read more
This gem of a restaurant is truly surprising. Inside are faux birch trees and flowing rivulets along channels in the floor to... give the illusion of dining in a forest. Numerous cushy booths and two-top tables. Clean modern bathroom. There is an alcove forsmaller groups (around seven), and a banquet room for larger groups upon reservation. Friendly staff and delicious Americanfare. Ample parking out front. In October 2020 the Lewis County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe at this location after hishistoric run for New York Governor. Read more
Happened upon this restaurant on my way down route 12 from the North Country. Located directly on the Adirondack trail system,... this restaurant & bar gets much busier in the winter months when the snow trails are open. It was not busy when I stopped induring what is almost peak leaf change season early October this year. The place is extremely well maintained. Very clean. Thestaff is very courteous, well trained, and attentive. I witnessed lots of continual detailed cleaning of tables and chairs aftercustomers departed their places. The food is delicious. I had the cream of mushroom with beef soup (Awesome!!) and a grilledcheese sandwich. All of their soups are made from scratch on site. I regretted not getting a bowl instead of a cup. The fauxoutdoor setting with a tree and creek running through the center of the dining room is charming, warm, and inviting. Thebathroom was spotless. The bar is separated from the restaurant. They even have separate entrances from outside. I woulddefinitely come here again. Read more
