It it, a small casual place that does not lack in taste of friendliness! We were there as soon as they opened. They woman behind... the counter explained what they had ready, and said we can order anything, it might just take a bit longer than what was ready.I ordered half cabbage rolls and stuffed pepper. That got me two huge stuffed cabbage rolls, and the most gigantic stuffedyellow pepper I have ever seen, with a side of mashed potatoes, and some broccoli and cauliflower. It was the most deliciousstuffed pepper I have ever had in my life, EVER!! The cabbage rolls were so flavorful, had like a bacon taste to eat, sodifferent from the Polish ones I grew up with. The hubby got half cabbage rolls as well, and the goulash, which he loved, andwas also delicious!! His was served with the same sides. We had no leftovers, except the bread that was fresh backed. He hadtheir version of a three milks cake, which was amazing!! This place reminded me of my grandma's kitchen and home cooking, wewill be back for more!! Read more
Oh my goodness! The food here is delicious! The ghoulish and the stuffed peppers are AMAZING! You have to try this homemade food... made with love. I have to go back and try more of their offerings. Food was excellent, especially the vegetarian baked beans and the potatoes. They're packed with flavor - honestly I could have... eaten a whole bowl of baked beans. Everything had not just salt but earthy, hearty flavor. Staff was extremely friendly andhelpful. Seating space is limited to 3 tables, and there's not space to pull them together. I would say parties over 5 peopleshould not expect to dine in. For smaller groups or couples it makes for an intimate and pleasant setting. I came duringoff-peak time and food was slightly cool inside - was definitely fully cooked but just wasn't reheated all the way. Not knockingoff a star because that's to be expected from diner-like places during slow times. Basically it's a classic diner servingauthentic Balkan food. Worth a visit for the beans alone. This place was amazing, the food and the service was another level. They make me feel like at home. I went there to try serbian... food because my husband is Serbian, they let me to try all the menu. Everything I tried was delicious and my husband also loveit. This place is small, nothing fancy, but is really clean and delicious. I recommend you This place 100%. Read more
