This place has some of the best food I've ever eaten. Every bite is enchanting—it even manages to make me enjoy foods I hate. ... The food is filling too; you won't be getting hungry later. El Rey's staff are polite and personable. From what I can tell, themajority of sauces are made in-house, and some of the drinks too. My experience at this restaurant was one of the best I've everhad. Though I am just passing through the area, I would come back to the West Coast just for this food. Read more

I've never tried Peruvian food before! After work for me, getting near closing time I called to see if we could get a takeout... order before they closed. Wonderful people and excellent service! I arrived within ~15 minutes and our food was ready to go. Wife and I both tried the Lomo Sealtado. We're enjoying it. I had never heard of Chinese influence in Peruvian cooking before. Very interesting. Exciting new food for us to try! And great service! I'll certainly order this dish again, but lookingforward to try other menu items too. For sure we'll be back to dine in sometime when it's not so late in the day. ???????? Read more

Food is amazing and clean! I love the painting on the wall! I just talked to the lady behind the counter, and she was so nice to... me and my family. My grandpa just came from Peru and he said that the roasted chicken was just like that one in Peru! I’m gladI came to try this restaurant and get to know the family that runs it! Amazing food! The Jalea was just like the one in Peru!!! Pollo a la brasa is also very tasty. The sauces are super good as well
