Overall, dinner was terrific. The service was impeccable. The flavor of the food was excellent and clearly done from scratch. ... My husband said his chicken parmigiana was the best he?s had anywhere. My salmon was flavored very well. My only issue with itwas that I prefer it cooked to medium. When I tried to order it that way, the server told me that the kitchen cooks it to apredetermined temperature that was ?medium-ish?. Unfortunately, it was cooked through. Still delicious, just not how I preferit. It?s become quite common for people to prefer salmon cooked medium, so the restaurant should consider cooking to customertaste. Read more
Two of us ate at your restaurant for dinner recently. We were disappointed with various aspects of the meal. We waited longer... for a drink than the table next to us. When I seized a salad cane that we were sharing, it didn't have serving utensils or extraplates. The croutons We're a horrible!No one offered any black pepper or grated cheese!We hadn't even finished our salad and ourentrees were placed in front of us.Our neighboring diners were still having their appetizers?. they had ordered before us andthey didn't seem to be rushed!!The entree's, well they just weren't great!!!!!I don't know where any of you people have eatendinner beforeBut this definitely not an Italian eating experience. Went with friends for my birthday, was initially concerned that our table was near the door, that we might feel uncomfortable,... that the night may not feel special?. Well, that evaporated quickly!???? This place is a gem! We initially had trouble finding aparking space, and the owner went out with my husband and got him set. Loved our server, she was not only super efficient butso warm and personable. It happened there were several other birthday happenings that night, and everyone sings happy birthdaywith a candle lit dessert. Everyone!!! Sings!!! It was packed, so a bit loud, but we had a blast and really loved it. Ambiencelovely, food out of this world, so happy our friends suggested it. This place just goes above and beyond in every way. Nice little place...rough outside appearance, but cute inside. The Bolognese was nicely done with fresh basil mixed in and a... nice amount of meat. The pasta is homemade and cooked perfectly. The meatball sub was a generous portion, good cheese, finishedin the oven. Homemade meatballs were tasty. The fries, which I got but didn't order (misunderstanding) were the ones with astarch coating for crispness...they were fine too. The bread served at the start seemed to be homemade and the olive oil to dipit in was possibly the best I've ever had. Even my wife, certified butter addict, was dipping her bread. Service was fine andfriendly. They had desserts, some of which I believe homemade. We got the Belgian chocolate mousse torte, and it was very good.There is a window looking in on the kitchen, but you'd need to be rather tall to get a really good look.
