Reviews for Lynden Mandarin Chinese Restaurant in Lynden, WA
Not many options for family meals. The Mongolian beef was nothing but fat.
Excellent food and service, with very large portions. I would highly recommend this establishment.
We?re a little new to the area, but have visited Lynden more than a few times and this place was on my list of restaurants to... try! We were greeted right away and sat at a comfy booth. Very clean place! I recommend starting off with their appetizerplatter, perfect to share with another person. I got the Chicken Pad Thai and my partner ordered the General Tso's Chicken andwow! Very delicious and generous servings. We had plenty to take home! Next time you?re in Lynden, come check this place out! Read more
My partner picked some up for us and received excellent service and the food was delicious for the price we paid! It was about... $40 for both of us and our takeout boxes were packed full and came with soup. We had leftovers as well and it tasted just asgreat the next day! Thanks for the wonderful dinner! Ordered the deep fried almond chicken and oh my God it was soggy the breading was just so soggy couldn't eat it made me gag....... And then chow mein had no flavor. The egg fu yung was okay. Then the prices that are posted on their website aren't accuratebecause the price I paid was like $8 more than the price it should have been. I don't think I'll be going here ever again.Lesson learned Read more
Jury is still out on this one. Generous portions of food. Very nice Egg Flower Soup. Egg Fu Yung pretty good, ingredients minced... up, molded egg pancakes. Not much flavor to the gravy. It's hard to find Almond Chicken done well these days, you won't find ithere. Chicken was very nice, but again, used same near flavorless gravy with no almond slices :/ General Tso's Chicken good, spice scale seems to run low. Suggest ordering white rice, over the fried rice. The fried rice at least served on the side isnot fried, just seems to be rice pot made, with soy sauce and maybe something else. You can sub for the Chow Mein at additionalprice. Restaurant is very nice. Waiter has the customer's body language and cues down and is usually on his way to catch yourneeds. Will no doubt give these guys more business, but will switch it up and maybe add a vegetable side. Read more
Worst Chinese Food. Ever. If zero stars was an option, that?s what I would give. The fried rice has absolutely NO flavor. The... chicken is cut in a way I?ve never seen chicken cut before and I honestly wonder if it?s chicken. The beef is full fat andflavorless and they shorted us a soup. Never again. Read more
I moved to Whatcom county from San Diego a year ago, and eating out is in the countryside is usually a let down. Not this place!... Lynden Mandarin is by far one of the stars of the county, will definitely be going again. Everything was flavor intensive, andnice and hot for pick up. The orange chicken is the best I ever had, the sauce was made with real oranges, unlike many otherplaces I've been to. Fantastic stuff! Read more
