The bagels are fine and the iced coffee is surprisingly good, but EVERY time I get a cinnamon crunch bagel, it tastes like... garlic! I don?t know if they sit next to savory bagels in the oven if the dough touches other bagels, but it?s so disappointingwhen you expect sweet and get savory. This place is amazing! They have a TON of different topping options for their bagels. I've been 5 times in the last 2 months and... they deserve a Michelin star for the consistent quality of the food. They're also very affordable, very fast and there's never along wait. Recommendation- a bacon, egg and cheese on a french toast bagel. Thank me later.. Read more
Finally got there before 2 to try out this new brunch spot! It was pretty full at lunchtime and very welcoming cozy seating! ... Ordered both egg and honey walnut cream cheese bagels. See pic below of very generous helping of Honey walnut cream cheese! Niceactual walnut chunks in it. Whole wheat everything bagel was very fresh, a bit salty but very nice chewy texture! Coffee wasquite good very hot though not the strongest but much better than blue ridge. Liked the creamer selection. Would definitely goback to try more menu items. I really want to love this place, but more often than not they get my order wrong. I tried to be understanding when they were... slammed but the last three times I went, all quiet, they screwed up my order, and I'm really tired of trying to give themanother chance and inevitably being disappointed. Ultimately I?m pretty disappointed in my experience with these guys. Our order was messed up and while they were nice and... replaced the sandwich they made it incorrectly. There are only four ingredients on the sandwich so this is a bit surprising Thebagels themselves are very good. Unfortunately the herbs on the chicken overpowered everything else. The bagel was delicious! Reminds me of home in NJ walking into the bagel shops! The taste / texture of the bagel was absolutely... spot on! Just wish it was a little thicker. I got the bacon egg and cheese on plain bagel and it was delicious! Presentation wasslightly messy but it was only 2nd day open. I will be back for sure! New York style bagel shop very trendy and cozy atmosphere they make fresh bagels ???? from scratch right in... front of you kinda new around here in town tried popy seed honey walnut bagel ???? with ham smear honey walnut cream cheese???? wowww great flavor combination ???? i love it. I have found Bagel & I to be a fantastic bagel shop (cafe) to eat at when I am on that side of town. The bagels are fresh, a... wide variety to choose from and great coffee and tea (they use real sugar and not high fructose syrup!). Highly recommendstopping by during 6am-2pm M-F.
