I?m losing access to my college gmail, but I wanted to go back and give reviews from my new Google account to my favorite small... businesses that I had previously reviewed in case my old reviews disappear! Lola?s is my favorite Mexican restaurant of alltime. Something about their rice and salsa are just better than anywhere else!! We?ve since moved away and have yet to find aMexican restaurant that compares. I will always go out of my way to squeeze in a meal at Lola?s when I?m back in town!! Pretty good. My family enjoyed everything we got. I want to highlight: the horchata was a generous portion, and they gave us... plenty of chips and salsa for the table. I got the burrito grande, which I think could?ve been more flavorful but was stillfine. Our server was very nice. Read more

Lola's was okay, like the food tasted fine but nothing to rave about. Our table had several rice and protein plates as well as... enchiladas and tamales. We had a good enough variety of options to ensure this place was just "okay". In addition we also trieda "peach" frozen margarita. This was a frozen machine Lime margarita that the lady just added a little peach flavoring to, I sawher make it as well as she did the same thing with another couples "mango" margaritas. They are not made with Jose Cuervo whichis really unusual for a Virginia Mexican restaurant. The drink was not that great and I wouldn't recommend it. The service wasalso just "okay" and the restrooms were mainly clean but no toilet paper when I went. I don't think I would choose to go back tothis restaurant however, if someone asked me to meet there I could go. Read more
Update: 1/2022 Still pushing great eats. Had the lunch chimi. Good lunch portion and very well done. Their guacamole is... OUTSTANDING. Simple and perfectly seasoned. Get a side with you meal, won't regret it. Very clean food.. By that i mean, nonoily good quality eats. This will very much be a regular visited spot. One of only a handful of places i've seen that dared tomake black mole.. Must try next time. Price is very reasonable. Veg options as well. Winner winner chicken burrito dinner! Read more

Decent food. We have had better and not sure we would go back. It's not terrible just not much to it. Good portions (we both... took home leftovers). So again its not bad. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere, TVs, music playing. Our service was out of thisworld. She was SO kind and always avaliable. Read more
