My parents ate at their River Ridge Mall location on 12-10-21. Cook was constantly talking to a friend and didn?t bother telling... the waitress their food was done (after waiting?and waiting?and waiting, they finally got the waitress to check). Bothsandwiches were nothing like described in the menu, and had missing ingredients one one while the other was dripping withgrease. Waitress never checked on tea refills and when she brought $30 check she said ?there was nothing? she could do about thecook (who was STILL gabbing with their friend). Tried the mall location for a quick bite and brew. The grilled cheese (bistro, I think) was really good. Nice bacon, cheese, and... the sourdough was perfectly grilled. It was a bit of a wait, but watching people as a pass time helps bide time. All in all,great little spot to grab a bite. Read more
I left a review on the main page as well. If you wanna wait 25 minutes for someone to even show up to cook. Come here. Very... unprofessional. I asolutely love the main restaurant. However, I work in the mall and usually get 30 minutes for lunch. Decidedto go to iron and ale in the mall today and grab lunch. Usually pretty good service. Unfortunately today, I placed my order andthe girl that rang me up was great. She was the only on there and I knew then it would be an issue. I saw her panicking andtrying to find whoever was supposed to be cooking. I could see she had several orders backed up. Again I only get 30 minutes forlunch. After 25 minutes I see this young guy come strolling in and laughing. I wasnt going to leave a review until then. Neversaid he was sorry or any reason for that. I recommend Iron and ale to everyone. But unfortunately I will never recommend them toanyone in the mall again. Poor service today. And I never got to really enjoy my lunch. Another lady showed up and never spokeeither. Food so fresh the leave the sticker on!
I was a little skeptical at first of a place in the middle of the mall, and even more so when I saw that the menu included no... fries or standard 'burger sides'. But the food that I received was easily the best I've had in a long series of sad burger runs.Soft bun, fresh toppings, and a meaty flavor that blended it all together perfectly. And even the sides (I got Macaroni Saladwhile my fiancee got Potatoe Salad) seemed to compliment the meal perfectly. And then I got the bill for this food, and wasexpecting to be hurting; but even those are reasonable and I spent less than I would've at McDonald's for way better food. Greatspot, will return. Only downside is no traditional drinks or fries; only cans, at 75 cents. Read more
OMG ????, food was heavenly, drinks were awesome, bartender pouring great drink for a good price, cook prepared everything... exquisitely and it was all delicious. Management was extremely attentive and positive and made some excellent recommendations.Just wish there was some of these places down here around Goldsboro and Smithfield, NC.
