We decided to check out this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. After waiting a few minutes we were shown to our... table. Our waitress Hannah was excellent. She was friendly, bubbly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food came out hotand tasty. The drinks were perfect as it was a very hot evening. We liked our service and the food so much that we decided tocome back again. This place has great service, not a long wait and very friendly servers. Thank you for providing us such a funevening. We are not from Lynchburg but you can bet when we return we will come back to this place. Read more

We visited this place a while ago. Service was ok, but I can't say the same for the food. We went during lunch, and it was... pretty slow. I ordered the catfish. It was slimy and mushy, and a ridiculous amount of breading. I ultimately chose not to eatit. My husband's food was so slathered in sauce, he couldn't stomach it. We didn't bother asking for the food to be remade, we'dalready waited quite a while. The business does have a good atmosphere, though and our server was friendly. Read more

Lunch was kinda slow and felt dead. No music, just very quiet. Food was good. Beer was on point. Even the atmosphere was good.... Just needed life to make a soul feel welcome. Talked to bartender, he assured me weekends with music was packed. I'll have totry it out! Had the special: chicken tacos. Very good. Price was great(2$ xtaco), taste was 7 of 10. And in my book ya'll havea hard time beating that. The cornbread was great. Nice honey butter was a good touch. Read more

Unfortunately, this was some of the worst service I?ve had. I?ll start with the good stuff first. Their cornbread is out of... this world. The value you get from the amount of delicious cornbread is second to none. Absolutely wonderful. The bad - theirwaitresses do no attend to you at all. We were completely ignored for the first 30 minutes after sitting down. They finally tookour order. When the food arrived, we asked for silverware. They said they?d bring it. 10 minutes go by and no silverware.Meanwhile we are sitting outside on a somewhat cold night with our food getting cold. Another waitress is at a table nearby andwe ask her for silverware. Another 10 minutes and nothing (she brought silverware out for another table in that time). Wefinally had a member of our party go into the restaurant and stand at the front until someone handed us silverware. By the timewe got to eat our food (roughly 25 minutes or so after it being delivered and us getting silverware), everything was just coldand inedible. For as big of an order as our group had, you would think the waitresses would actually want to help. It may havebeen the fact that we were the only non-white people at the restaurant. While I don?t believe that race played a part of theexperience, I can?t help but think there was some discrimination for an unknown reason. Also, don?t get their fried mushrooms. For the $6 or $7 it costs, they give you exactly 6 or 7 mushroom caps. Such a terrible value, so don?t make the same mistake wedid. Read more
