We love Mediterranean food. They had one of the best lentil soup I have ever had. Also great dolmas and falafel. Service was... alright. My food came about 5-8mins after my spouse's food. Hummus was oiley, a bit pastey,and not flavored the best. This wasthe first time we didnt eat all of our hummus. Their wraps and meat were a bit dry, their tea had soured and I needed to askfor a different drink. They didnt bring extra tiziki sauce like I asked. Luckily I had some with my sampler platter, otherwiseit would have been too dry. Everyone was really nice. And it was quiet and laid back. We will come again. Hoping their hummusis better next time. Sometimes treats come in unexpected places. Don't judge Family Oasis Mediterranean Grill by its unassuming aesthetic. I ordered... a Lamb Gyro with a side of Hummus and pita bread. The gyro looked and tasted delicious. I also enjoyed the fresh hummus, samosaappetizer, and a complimentary tasting of their lentil soup. Service was good, prices reasonable. When in Lynchburg again,Family Oasis Mediterranean Grill will be on my list of places to revisit. Read more
Great service and even greater food. I ordered the Falafel sandwich, with pickled mango liquid sauce on the side. It didn't... taste pickled at all, but it was so delicious! My husband ordered the hummus with pita and also samosas. He also had the Gyro.We also ordered the fries. I appreciate the fries being nice and crispy. EVERYTHING was delicious. Very delicious food. Hummus and pita and all the sauses are homemade. The wait was the only issue. It was quite awhile on the... appetizers.. but that is the only thing wrong here. Food and service was great. Amazing flavors. Very well done! I'll be backfor sure! Read more
Very friendly and extremely helpful. I wish I liked the food. I tried a lot of stuff on the menu and didn't really prefer any of... the appetizers. This was my first time trying Mediterranean so I think I'm just not a fan in general. The meals had potentialbut ALL of the meat was severely overcooked (extremely chewy). I do believe I would have eaten the gyro and kebabs otherwise, asthey had a really nice flavor. I'm leaving 4 stars because of the customer service. Read more
I hope there isn't a limit on how many words you can leave on a review, cause I've got alot to say about this place. For one,... they are only getting 5 stars, because I can't give them 10. The food was AMAZING, my husband said it tastes better than thefood he's had in Greece. The young men staffing the place are courteous and super friendly. It's very clean and they have abell on every table for you ring if you need something. (Very nice touch) Wonderful, WONDERFUL place to grab lunch. It'll be aregular place for us for sure! Read more
This place is amazing! The food is incredible. Very flavorful and well prepared. The lentil soup is some of the best I?ve ever... had, super amazing flavor and perfectly proportioned. My husband and I stopped here while visiting our son at LU. What a pleasant surprise! The food was fantastic! I had the chicken... shawarma on a pita, he had the same with rice and veggies.
