Probably the best home cooked food in the area. Only problem is that hour is are not very good. They change them now I think... they?re only open for lunch. Not being open for dinner is kind of odd to me but I know the owner bill some great guy and helikes to be there Oh, if you want to get home cooking that?s the place to go even if it?s just for lunch. Have been eating there since high school (many years) was always good food, hot and really reasonable prices. Their first... mistake was closing at 3:00 dinner rush was always busy. Ate there today and food was less than normal. They don?t have thesame cole slaw, potatoes tasted instant and roast beef (always my favorite) was really dry. My family of 3 could always eat forjust short of $25 today my son and I ordered take out, I got full meal and he got the roast beef without any sides. The rollswere wet and soggy on the bottom so half was wasted. We each got banana pudding (very small cup) and our total $34.73. Theymust have charged him full meal price which they have never done also they have raised prices way up for subpar food. Verydisappointed. Read more
Arrived at 2:45 on Monday. We were told they were closed. Had never eaten there but heard it was wonderful. I guess open til... 3pm means they want you finished by 3pm. The food looked great on the plates they were serving. May try again but I think theneed to rethink their hours. We were across town and looked up the hours and figured we would be allowed in if we made it before3pm. Read more

What an absolutely amazing find! Service was supper friendly and fast. Drink were constantly refilled and the food was amazing.... Everyone loved good old style food and that?s what there fixin? up! Food like mama used to make! Love their fried chops and theyalso have great hamburger steak. Portions are large and prices are cheap. Just be aware that it is cash or check only.
