The view is worth ten stars. We arrived at 6:15. With A few minutes left in happy hour. Our server did not greet us until 6:31.... She was sweet but not a great waitress. We each had a drink and shared the cheese board. It was excellent. Expensive but good. Read more
I can?t rave enough about how amazing this place is. From the food to the drinks and the staff. I tried their special new cheese... steak and I?ll be back for it again. All the drinks were beautiful and tasty. Michael helped me and my friends at the bar. Wealso had a great conversation with the Manager, I believe his name was Josh. First off we were very excited to have brunch here. The view was very nice. So Sunday was not very busy for brunch and now I... know why. We had a party of 5, not huge so this should have not been a problem as there is a very limited menu.The waitress tookour order and then we waited and waited and waited. 30 minutes after placing our order our server stopped by our table and saidshe saw our order coming up and she would be serving us momentarily. After another 15 minutes she brought out 3 plates. 3 of ushad ordered the breakfast burger, our shoestring potatoes were ice cold, so it seems those 3 orders sat waiting to served forquite some time before being brought to our table. Then there was a 10 minute wait for the other 2 orders of eggs Benedict to bebrought to our table. Each order had broken yolks. Mind you while we waited for our table we watched 3 other tables come inafter us, get their food, eat and leave. So after all of this bad service, cold food, we let the server know we wanted to splitthe check 2 ways. Our server informed us that her manger automatically added the gratuity on each check, which was fine, untilwe paid the bill. They added a 22% gratuity on to our check. I have no problem with cost; however when I received 1 star serviceand am charged 5 star gratuity that was not deserved, I have a problem. I tip for good service, when I receive good service, butwhen people don't have to provide good service to receive a good a good tip, they don't work for it. This was a very badexperience, for service and for food.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! Golden Corral is a better choice and you can tip according tothe service you receive. I will never go to No. 7 Rooftop again and No one from our " Brunch Club" will either!! 5 unsatisfiedcustomers.in addition, they serve ketchup in little black plastic cups, which is fine; however, when there is one on the floorfor your almost 2 hour experience, splattered everywhere and not cleaned, is rather disgusting. Love the outside rooftop area and view of the city. It was pretty cold outside but the fireplaces were on as well as the... overhead heaters and it was still pleasant. The food was good too! Would love to come back during the day time. Great serviceand atmosphere!! Read more
7 Rooftop is a great addition to downtown Lynchburg! The atmosphere and river front views are relaxing. The ladies room was... nice, clean and spacious. I love that the heat vents in the ceiling and the firepit keep you warm even while sitting in theoutdoor area. This is perfect for chilly Fall nights. Customer service is excellent. Our server and the manager Elijah were topnotch! I will definitely patron here again. I recommend the Black Cherry Margarita. Read more
-5 stars for the "excellent" view -3 stars for the drinks I received -Great atmosphere -Quiet and relaxed setting -Only a few... food options -Lots of drinks to choose from -I noticed several people stopping in for a drink or two after eating a meal at therestaurant that is downstairs -The elevator ride is quick even when it stops on other floors along the way -Majority of thepatrons opted to sit outside to enjoy the view and warm breeze -I ordered two drinks on my visit. I did not care for either one.One had too much elderberry in it and the 2nd drink had too much sour mix... after 2 fails I just ordered ice water -The waiterwas kind and apologized for my drink issues -The waiter did a great job and tended to our needs very effectively. Spectacular view, wonderful (Liberty College) waitress. Appetizers came after our food order mix up in kitchen or printing... order. We ask them to take back our meals because we wanted to enjoy our appetizers first. We ordered the New Orleans BarbecueShrimp & Spinach Artichoke Dip both delicious. We ordered Chicken Caesar Salad, Caesar Salad & Spicy Salmon Maki Bowl. Salmonand most of dish was tasty, the rice seemed like it was Minute Maid rice or it had been sitting under a heat lamp to long. Itwas hard and did not seem sticky or fresh.
