I am a Trini so I had to show my support. Walked in and I smelled my mother's cooking. Owner very sweet and personable. Had the... curry chicken buss up (curry was perfect), doubles and pholourie (perfect balance of crispy on the outside and light and airy onthe inside). Comes with a nice tamarind sauce. My sister and I were visiting a nearby bakery, and decided to stop in for takeout so we could try some of their famous wontons. ... Upon entering, we were greeted with a menu by friendly staff, and the owner came to the front to say hello as well. Our orderwas ready in less than 15 minutes, and the staff even offered to bring it carside. We ordered the curry chicken and roti meal,and the shrimp wontons. I was looking online for a West Indian restaurant and came across Trini Bites and decided to give it a try. I called to place my... order and couldn?t be any more pleased by the warm service. The staff and owner, Renee, were very accommodating and friendly. Iended up ordering almost everything on the menu just to try and it definitely was worth the try! Everything was packed neatly,with care and the food was very flavorful! Just the right amount of seasoning and very fresh ingredients. Hands down best Trini food in our area. We ordered each of the Buss Up options. The beef and chicken were super tender, the... veggie was very good, and the shrimp was so flavorful, definitely my favorite. The Doubles taste exactly as you expect them to,soft and yummy.
