I am a Trini so I had to show my support. Walked in and I smelled my mother's cooking. Owner very sweet and personable. Had the... curry chicken buss up (curry was perfect), doubles and pholourie (perfect balance of crispy on the outside and light and airy onthe inside). Comes with a nice tamarind sauce. My sister and I were visiting a nearby bakery, and decided to stop in for takeout so we could try some of their famous wontons. ... Upon entering, we were greeted with a menu by friendly staff, and the owner came to the front to say hello as well. Our orderwas ready in less than 15 minutes, and the staff even offered to bring it carside. We ordered the curry chicken and roti meal,and the shrimp wontons. Found this place on seamless and I?m so happy I did! Being from Trinidad it is hard to find authentic Trini food here on Long... Island. The food was absolutely fresh, delicious and flavorful.
