We really enjoy camping here. The campsites are pretty big! They have a fireworks show around the 4th of July as well. Swimming... is at the east crossing which is fine because they technically don\'t allow alcohol on that side. The west side is where you candrink. The Hungry Pelican is new at this site (2022) so it\'s just as awesome as the OG at Mel Reiman! But I would say moreparking is needed at both because of the popularity. Read more

Walking in the door we were greeted with a big hello and friendly smile! We had the talapia special with fried rice tonight, it,... by far, was the best meal I’ve eaten at a resort on Lake Ashtabula! They report was very busy and yet we had our deliciousmeal within 15 minutes of ordering! Only fifteen minutes from Valley City, it’s definitely worth the short drive out to thelake for a great meal, wonderful service and drinks. Read more
