Villagios had been on my list of “restaurants to try “ for the past two years, since I moved to Florida . I was looking... for a good Italian restaurant to replace the one I loved and left behind in West Virginia. Therefore, last night I made alast-minute decision to take my grandsons there to eat while their mom and dad were out celebrating their anniversary. Weshowed up at 7:30 without reservations. Jennifer, the hostess, told us it would be an hour, but she encouraged us to stay andwait. She told me we would not be disappointed. She said the restaurant had been there for over 30 years and the food was allfresh and homemade. I really felt like she cared and wanted us to stay, even though they were extremely busy and clearlydidn’t need our business last night. So glad we did. The three of us enjoyed our food. The staff was friendly andprofessional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. When we left, I thanked Jennifer for encouraging us to stay. I willdefinitely return. Read more
My boyfriend and I are locals and for our 6 months anniversary, we decided to come here! Oh yay! So yum, great service…can’t... wait to go back! We shared the Burrata appetizer, and he had the eggplant parmigiana and I enjoyed the pork chop! We finishedwith the crème brûlée (all pictured) Our server, Vera, was awesome! I was visiting friends for a 50th birthday and we decided to go here last minute. When we called they said they would take us... if we came right away. Very nice people working here!!! Made us feel like family. Also, our waitress was very observant becauseI never mentioned to her that I was allergic to garlic but she overheard me telling my sister and made sure she told the chef.The chef made my red sauce special for me so I didn't have any garlic! I could have ate it as my allergy isn't severe butbecause of this GREAT staff I was able to have Italian food and not break out in hives. If in town, I HIGHLY recommend tryingthis place out. Last night I was driving by the restaurant. My kids and I tried getting a seat at another restaurant, however, our wait was... going to be over an hour. I went into the restaurant and spoke with the hostess about our trouble with another restaurant. All my kids and i wanted was a great dinner and family time. Jennifer, the hostess, was very compassionate and empathetic. Shegot us seated right away. The atmosphere and food was exactly what my kids and I were needing.
