Changed my rating to 5 stars now because we've been going for a few weeks now, sometimes going there every morning since we live... close by and we can walk to the place, so now I can fully describe the experience, I've tried some of their wraps and sandwichesand I got to say they are delicious, that grilled cheese sandwich is amazing, that melted smoky taste coming from that cheeseand bacon makes everything better, their wraps are great and fresh, everything tastes fresh, the smoothies live up to the nameof the cafe, tropical and tropical is synonym of freshness and that's how the smoothies taste, fresh and delicious. The staffare also really nice. If you go in the morning you'll find Michael, he's the best at that location, he's such an efficient,outgoing guy. Read more
Whoever made my sandwich didn?t take out the paper that goes in between the turkey and I ended up accidentally eating half of... it. They were apologetic and quick to issue a refund. I?d just say to check your sandwiches before you eat them. Read more
We went to tropical smoothie this afternoon and got a couple smoothies a salad wrap and a couple cookies. Everything was more... than delicious. Also want to give a big thank you to the two gentlemen that were working this afternoon. I apologize if I gettheir names wrong one of them was Travon and the other one was Eric! Normally our smoothies from here are really good but this time we waited a very long time and the person making our smoothie was... having side conversations with friends who were not working. When we got our smoothie it was not sweet at all. I don?t know howyou make the smoothies but every time we get a Jetty Punch and Add B12 it is always super sweet. I usually do not leave reviews but I just had to. The guy working the register today was just terrible. He saw us come in and... waiting in line. He stood behind the register and didn?t even called next. I had to ask him if he?s open. Proceeded to order thefood specifically the jerk chicken bowl and was told they don?t have it so we had to take it in a wrap instead. The guy thatmade the smoothie were good and wished we had him take our order instead. The next customer ordered and was able to get thebowl with no issues. Just terrible. And I love tropical smoothie cafe, the lake Nona location is hands down the best! The ownerof this location really needs to look into their employees. I?ve never been this dissatisfied ever.
