I was warmly greeted and welcomed from the moment I walked through door. I explained that I was pregnant and the server walked... me through the menu of the options I had without me even asking. I really appreciate the time he took to help with my to-goorder. He even offered to make certain modifications to accommodate my needs. I?ll certainly return when I?m on this side oftown again. Yamato is our favorite sushi spot in the area! Our family has been getting sushi for holiday dinners here for years. I like that... the sushi roll pieces aren?t huge so that they are bite size and easy to eat. I can order Yamato takeout when I leave work andit is ready 12 min later when I come to pick it up. The fish is super fresh and always nice and cold. They don?t package hotfood with raw sushi, they use a separate bag, which is something I greatly appreciate from a sushi place for food safety. Theyhave a ton of special rolls, I like the Tiffany roll with spicy tuna, cream cheese, and a special sauce, it?s amazing. I alsoreally like the Tokyo roll. We highly recommend Yamato! Read more
Absolutely delicious and the best customer service we have received in a long time. We?ve been in the Cockeysville area for over... five years and stumbled upon this place when trying to scout out places we?ve never tried. The food is amazing. If your partneror friend is vegetarian or sushi isn?t usually their thing?. Head over here now!!! So many i options. Garlic edamame is a must.We will be back for sure - best sushi in the area! Overrated, bland, not worth $11 each. Was in the mood for sushi, asked Google for a recommendation for sushi nearby. Got 2... orders of combo Shrimp tempura roll & California roll sushi lunches, came with side of lettuce with some orange coloredsauce-sweet ginger dressing?? Shrimp tempura was not fresh, tasted like it was re-fried, batter was very hard. The rollappeared to be a piece of fried shrimp wrapped in rice, seaweed, no avocado or cucumber with a spread of some brown/orange colored sauce on top. Each order of sushi had 8 small pieces. By far in my top three sushi places of all time. Always delicious and always fresh. Great customer service! If you're a sushi... fan, Bob's special and the nyann rollsl are my favorites. They also have desserts that everyone enjoys, fried Oreos, banana eggrolls and ice cream. If you are not into sushi there are other dishes are really good as well. Read more
Yamato is one of my FAVORITE places to grab lunch or dinner. The food is delicious. Typically I get George Fried Rice because... well it is wonderful and full to the brim! You will not go hungry eating here like alot of places have skimped on their portionssince COVID, Yamato has NOT. The people are always friendly and I cannot say enough good things about Yamato Sushi. Just tryit, you won't be disappointed! Read more
