this is such a cute little cafe!! loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing. got a burger and my partner got the fish and... chips, both came out pretty quickly, considering how busy they were (on a Wednesday morning!) we both left very full and happy.plus the coffee was good too. it's nice to see customers sitting on the porch with their dogs as well. so cute! we don't have adog but we love dogs, so it was fun. thanks for the good eats! I was in Luray for the day and for the morning I was looking for a place to have quick coffee. I searched near me and decided to... have coffee from Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop. From the menu I ordered Medium Mocha with Chocolate Flavor. I got my coffee soonin less than 5 minutes. The coffee was hot and freshly brewed as well as roasted perfectly. Love this place! The staff is super friendly and the coffee and food is amazing. We had about a 20 minute wait to be seated, but... there were cute shops nearby to browse while we waited and we received a phone call when our table was ready. My daughter and Ishared a coffee flight, which consisted of generous portions of 4 different types of coffee, all of which were delicious. Theyhave a great variety and high quality ingredients. We had breakfast and lunch here during our stay in the area. Their cappuccinos are very good. The omelette was good & pancakes... were just ok. The chicken salad croissant was really good! And their pasta salad side was fresh and satisfying! Food coming outat lunch was a tad slow-they were busy-but the wait was worth it! Definitely recommend stopping in for breakfast or lunch! Fantastic! Just loved this place. Amazing delicious food. The coffee was perfect. We actually ended up eating 3 times at this... place. A lot of vegetarian options. The veggie wrap was delicious and felt so fresh. The veggie burger was great and the aiolijust made it perfect. Loved the ambiance too. They have a beautiful patio for outdoor seating too. Incredible food, friendly service, great atmosphere! Such a lovely morning spent here at Gathering Grounds. I can?t stop telling... people what a great time we had here during our honeymoon! The cinnamon roll, the sandwiches, the coffee, it was all spot on. Gathering Grounds deserves a pat(isserie) on the back because I enjoyed myself when I was there for brunch. My friend and I... were visiting and this spot was recommended by two locals for breakfast or lunch. I ordered a coffee and breakfast sandwich.They?re coffee was very nice, which was a great way to start brunch. The sandwich was a safe choice in my part, but I?m glad Idid because it was perfectly cooked. I ordered a wide of onion rings, which were perfectly crispy. Our server was awesome.
