This place is the best!!! I use to come here every time I was passing through Lucerne Valley. Now, I moved to Lucerne and cone... here all the time. Authentic Chinese food and always fresh. Good food, cooked to order. Good service and friendly owner. Ordered hot and sour soup, shredded pork, orange chicken and egg... rolls and left full with leftovers to take home for second dinner. Will eat there again! Read more

In a world full of bad service, the service at China House was an unexpected surprise. The service starts with hot tea, some... dipping sauces with crunchy sticks (not sure what they are called), and during the meal the waitress brought hot towels! Thewaitress took the time to clarify some choices my kids were ordering which was helpful. Our food was up and out to our tablesuper quick and the check delivered with 2 kinds of cookies! Read more
The food was alright but very expensive. They also changed us an extra rice that we didn't even eat. Their version of wantons is... a fried chip with a corner folded, nothing in it, what a waste. The chow maine noodles were way over cooked, they were somushy. They only thing good to me was the orange chicken and fried rice. After eating here a coworker told me they stoppedeating here because they found out that the owners take the waitresses tips. The food wasn't even good enough to come back forin the first place but if that's really how they're doing their waitresses then I'll never come back, I don't support treatingworkers like that. The best family owned and operated Chinese food in the high desert!! I've been coming to this restaurant more than 17 years... never had anything bad always so yummy. Conveniently is located on highway 18 Lucerne Valley, folks come from all over... BigBear, Victorville even Oregon for this family's awesome cooking. Ample parking including handicap plenty indoor seating but notduring covid-19 take out only. For your convenience orders can be called in. Read more
China House was great! I guess they have been here for many years, but we just found it. There is a real shortage of Chinese... food restaurants in the High Desert. The food was great, and the people are very friendly and nice, and service was great! Theyhave a really nice green tea, which is brought to the table with the water and the crispy noodles, it's complimentary. We had afried rice, a chow mien, and the Mongolian beef. Everything was really good. The fried rice was fluffy and good, with a niceamount of all ingredients, and good flavor. The noodles were equally good and tasty. The Mongolian beef was really good, thebeef was tender and tasty. It had bamboo shoots as an ingredient, I'm not used to seeing that, usually it's just the beef andonions, scallions, garlic, soy sauce...but it was pretty good too. We've been hoping for a good Chinese restaurant withinreasonable driving distance from Apple Valley, and finally we found it! We'll definitely be returning, and I recommend thisplace to anyone close enough to make it an option, it's awesome! Read more
The reviews for this place didn't meet my expectations at all. We ordered 3 different dishes one was acceptable the other 2 were... very unacceptable. We could not eat the Kung Pao chicken and the Paper Wrapped chicken was sour and frankly terrible. I wasreally wishing for a Chinese food place miracle but we got a fat dud instead. 2 stars because one item was edible and theamazing service we received there. The staff was absolutely amazing and attentive. It cost about 50 dollars for an appitizer and2 entres so no complaints on pricing at all...just wish the food was better. Read more
