The bbq isn?t bad, but you absolutely have to check your order in the drive through. This is the 3rd time I have been shorted a... meat on a two meat plate, and the sauces ordered weren?t in the bag. Again. It?s just extremely frustrating to pay for something, just to get all the way home and realize you didn?t receive it. Do better guys? Read more
No matter what I order here, I'm always extremely pleased! The nachos and the Frito pie are my favorite things to order. The... employees are super nice and helpful. It was horrible. I got the loaded corn bread with chopped brisket. Corn bread was hard. Meat wasn't that great and was cold.... They were out of beans. My boyfriend got the ribs and it only came with 3 ribs for like $12 or $13. There are much better bbqplaces in lubbock. I know bbq is expensive but Bighams gives you 6 ribs for the same price and theirs is fall off the bonetender. HEB BBQ was a disappointment. Read more
I've always been a huge HEB fan and was excited to hear that not only would Lubbock finally be getting one, but it would have... the attached True Texas BBq I have heard so much about. Such a disappointment. Waited in line 25 minutes with only 5 carsahead of me. And I paid $20 for some of the smallest portions of the worst bbq I've ever had. One slice of brisket, 2.5scrawny ribs, bland cream corn and a brick with some butter on it that I think was supposed to be cornbread. $20! Looking atthe picture reminds me of the lunch cafeteria back in school. I won't even get into the customer service of the order takers andwindow person. I won't be back. Read more
This BBQ is great! Sometimes they need more help as the line can get long, but it?s worth it. Highly recommended.
