Food is good but they left out 3 burritos from the order... had to go back.

So I stopped coming to this store about 4 months ago because the service was horrible. I usually make a big order so I always go... in to order so I can check everything before I leave. 4 months ago I did just that and was informed that I must have misplaced acouple of combo burritos that were ordered and not put in the bag. Well I decided to give them another chance last week and wasvery impressed with the changes made. Looks like all new staff or at least it was the day I went. Was greeted nicely and orderwas correct the first time. The manager even offered to help carry anything out if I needed it and held a conversation with mydaughter whom was there with me. That made her day, so we will definitely be back to this location. Read more

Well it's better than Taco Bell. Back story: Being from Houston whenever we needed fast tex-mex we went to Taco Cabana. So when... I moved to Lubbock there was no TC to be had but my girl friend (a local) said, you have to go to Taco Villa, it's way betterthan TC. I disagree, I think it's good, I don't think it's better than TC. So the battle has raged on for the better part of 5years, till last night. The battle of TC vs TV is no more! Our order: #5 (A taco salad W/Steak), #3(A taco & burrito), andchicken nachos. The salad was good, I was a little taken back by the refried beans (added a strange texture I thought). Theyuse a charred beef that was flavorful and added a nice texture to the salad. Also they use Ken's steakhouse dressing (reallygood stuff). The taco & burrito was everything you would expect from cheap fast food. Good filling. The one thing that TV hason TC is their salsa, it's soooo good and makes every menu item 5000% better, so next time skip the "red sauce" and add morefresh salsa. The nachos, I'm just going to tell you now, skip the nachos. I thought they were a big letdown. Small,unappetizing to behold, the chicken looked more like something we gave the cat. Update 11/11/22: tried to get breakfast one more time, they stopped serving early. This location officially does not exist to me... anymore. Update 5/16/21: Thought I'd give them another shot, got a combo burrito & a bean chalupa. There was a long, curlyblack hair in the chalupa..... I stand by my original posting, go anywhere else! Not worth it. Overpriced, short portions, badmanagement, they ALWAYS cut breakfast short & most importantly the food isn't good. This is sadly the case at the majority ofthem here & they'll never get my business again. Read more
