Reviews for One Guy from Italy University in Lubbock, TX
I've been coming to the one guy since I went to school here starting in 91. Every year I stop in to grab a few calzones to take... back to San Antonio. Unfortunately the quality of the food has just been terrible the last few years. The calzone and pizzasare doughy on the bottom versus dry and crisp, the sausage doesn't have the same flavor or consistency anymore. Not enoughcheese in the calzone and it looks like a hot pocket. Pizza is doughy and is not what it used to be. It's a shame Read more
Fabulous cauliflower pizza!! I had it with vegan cheese, (and you never really know how the healthy pizzas will taste)... but... One Guy put culunary effort into this pizza and made me feel like my food allergies didn't exist! Definitely recommend! Read more
This place was great until Dario left. Customer service has gone out the window and prices seem to have gone up. If you want... the same type of pizza but better quality with great customer service for cheaper, go to Dario's on Milwaukee. Read more
One guy pizza is a staple for us here in Lubbock. In undergrad I would buy the large Nona pizza here (I have no idea why people... don?t order it more often), and would have family members begging me to drive them a box 5 1/2 hours away. Definitely a greatpizza spot. Read more
Ordered online through them and they got my order wrong. Pizza looked like it had been out for hours and was reheated to... lukewarm. Couldn't even finish a slice. I also got the garlic cheese bread and that was flavorless. Would never go again. Read more
Wings, and pizza were great. But that was it. We spent $79.38 and left very unsatisfied. The chicken parmigiana was not good the... noodles over cooked and very watered down tomato sauce, tortellini with Alfredo sauce just tasted like a creamy water down floursauce with salt and pepper. Read more
Went to school in Lubbock and have been going to One Guys since I was young. We have not been in two years and I was so... disappointed today. The owner retired and the person who owns the Quaker location bought this one out. This was my favoritepizza place period. The people working said we will take care of you. The only thing that was the same was the toppings. The oldowner was there every time we came in and he had the magic crust touch. Tonight it was to thick and doughy. It use to be thin, crunchy with just enough softness in the middle. Look at the pics people post and you can see it?s not the same compared to mypicture below from 2017. I Can?t believe my pizza place is gone. I can only hope the old owner opens another place and we meetagain.. Read more
Driving through, this was highly recommended with a 4.7 star rating, and I do not understand. We paid $3.50 for a slice of... burnt and dry cheese pizza. Read more
