The best sushi I?ve been able to find in Lubbock, hands down. No other place I?ve found compares. Service has always been great.... The ladies that work here are all very friendly and kind. I love the food. Everything from their onion soup which is excellent,to their many options of rolls, my favorite being spicy salmon and black dragon rolls are always consistently great. I really doenjoy eating here. The ingredients here are always fresh. I recently just tried their uni (sea urchin) sashimi which was veryfresh and impressive, I love trying the rare exotic stuff. We ordered takeout. This place needs to get with the times and offer online ordering. It was very frustrating to try to... communicate with loud environments on both ends. Luckily, the order was right. We ordered edamame 3.5/5, fried goyza 4/5,hibachi chicken/shrimp 5/5, steak/chicken 4.5/5, and filet/shrimp 5/5. The onion soup accompaniment is outstanding. Great food. Delicious Rainbow roll and generous portions for the Sushimi Deluxe.

Sushi was delicious and good portions and it was fresh I would definitely recommend if you are in Lubbock best in town.

Updated review: 10/2/21 - We went for lunch and had great service!! Food was good, except steak was a a little tough. Had a... great chef, entertaining!! Great as always!! This particular chef wasnt quite as entertaining as some of the others, but wewere a quiet group and no kids. I love the ginger dressing and the soup isnt too salty like I have had at other restaurants. Food was cooked properly to order. I like the chefs repeat the order before they start to ensure everything is correct...esp myorder of double rice and no vegetables ???? Definately a repeatable!!! Read more

The flavor of the steak was good but didn't last long on the meat. The shrimp was pretty good and the chicken was ok as well.

Food is always good but very inconsistent ofc bc of the style of cooking (i.e. sometimes a little heavy handed with salt or... sauces...other times it's perfect.) They don't accept reservations which is a bummer (and growing trend at most restaurants Imight add ????). You don't get to really pick your seats. On more than one occasion we were asked to move bc we were a "party of2", but when we had 4 were seated on the side?? So that was strange. The atmosphere is nice. I would recommend it for familyoutings so you know who you sit next to bc then otherwise it's the pick of the litter! ???? we didn't have a very lively bunchthis time.
